And..... the Speedform, Speedform II, Volt II, Chill, Composite Blade ZT350 and on and on and on...:D

Ive had 1 Big problem with my Volt ever since I got it ago 3 weeks ago...

I Cant Stop Carrying It. :D:thumbup:

Its really too bad Kershaw couldnt have made more Volts!

A bunch of wickedly awesome designs. Though it does seem like those of us who prefer other locks are getting shafted. :(

The random Task 2 is niiiiice!
Did you guys hear that? Sounded a bit muffled. Must have been my wallet screaming. ;)

They make good framelocks, though.

It works, so why change it?

I dunno, I've lost confidence in liner/frame locks over the last year. I've had a Spyderco Spin eat it's way across the blade tang, until it touched the other scale, and a sprint run OD-1 which failed with a spine TAP against my leg. :( If you slowly applied pressure to the spine, you could see the liner sloooooowwwly slide across the tang until it finally slipped off.

I do have other Kershaws which work perfectly fine. It's just that liner and frame locks have always seemed a bit precarious to me, at least in comparison to other locks.

Probably just a personal preference, but I am surprised that Kershaw doesn't have more of a variety of locks to go with their variety of excellent designs.

There's no doubt Kershaw is on fire this year. They have the best collaborating designers in Tim Galyean, R.J. Martin and Rick Hinderer. Add in a some home run in-house designs that rival the best customs (didn't Thomas design the Tilt?) and this could be the year of Kershaw.

Thomas mentioned the first half of 2010 they wanted to introduce new AO knives. I'll be looking forward to the non-AO knives later this year.

aha! finally, being a kershaw nut pays off! the Tilt is at the top of my list closely followed by the ZT0550, and Rake.

I've flipped open my volt at least 1000 times since getting it a couple of weeks ago. I'm a custom fixed blade kind of guy, but this composite blade line really hits me in the right spot.

Kershaw has been knocking it out of the park for years. IMHO they make the best production knives for the money that you can find. Offering a variety of styles, blade steels, blade coatings, locking mechanisms, and new innovations in the industry has been a staple of Kershaw for a long time. Ranging from the serious collector to someone who just needs a simple pocket knife, Kershaw offers a design for everyone. Kershaw has collaborated with makers who may have not been so well know at one time, but because of the collaboration with Kershaw, have blown up in the industry. Personally, I never knew of Ken Onion or Tim Galyean before picking up a few Kershaw offerings. Now they are two of my favorite makers. Every year Kershaw draws in more and more fans of their knives simply because they are a solid company that knows how to put a knife together. Add in the stellar customer service, the warranty, the extremely friendly staff and you've got a grand slam on your hands. To me, it's been the year of the Kershaw for a long time. No production company out there has impressed me more with their, designs, prices, offered materials, or anything else for that matter. My name is Tony and I'm a Kershawholic. :D

Agreed. As far as price/performance goes Kershaw is super. Besides, a lot of their designs appeal to non knife crowd. Several of my friends picked up shallots after seeing mine. Lucky them, although now I have to sharpen 3 or 4 ZDP-189 shallots.
For the record, and to commend Kershaw, even those are being used by non knife guys, pretty hard too, neither has any chipping so far.

Tommie designed the Tilt.... this guy (the one holding the Tilt):

wow anyone know anything about the fixed blades?

On the Fixed Blade Protos..... I don't know anything about planned release dates and such, but, I do know that they are nice and slim and feel really good in the hand. They were shown with a leather sheath with a belt loop. I don't know if that will make production either. The protos were 14c28 just like their folding bretheren. Maybe Thomas W will chime in with more.

Couldnt agree more.

Looks like some really neat knives coming out. The Rake and the 0550 top my list.

Kershaw rocks ! :)

They do have some very nice must have folders coming this year, especially the ZT 0550, Tilt, and the Speedform.
