Carry a Case "Yeller" CV Peanut daily. Surprised? You shouldn't be. My older brother routinely carried an old "Yeller" Imperial "Fishing Knife" that had plastic (not Delrin) covers. These had cheap 440A Japanese Steel blades that sharpened quickly and didn't rust too badly after he cleaned his "catch of the day" (usually either a Perch or Bluegill).

That does take me back to the late 1960's.

Good times.

Al, I'm curious about the one in the bottom row all the way to the left. Being that I see a nail nick on the opposite side (pile side) of all the others, I was assuming it was two bladed. But that doesn't explain the rose shield being on the pile side. What can you tell us or show us in pics?

Bob, I'm guessing that one's a left handed model. I don't think GEC does them very often, but they do have a tang stamp designation listed for it (LHL, for "Left Hand Lock"), and I found this one on their website.

Rocking the yellow at work today. My Case yellow handle CV Trapper is riding in my pocket, and the Victorinox Stay Glow Explorer stays in my bag.
