"Yeller" Handles

Always have yer yeller on ya when yer practicin' yer fish calls.

These were "common as grass" during the 1960's (my childhood). We carried Imperial and Saber "Cracked Ice" 7 1/2" and 9" "Melon Testers" bu t my older brother (Gary Lynn) bought himself a "fishing knife" (as shown) with yellow scales, complete with "hook disgorger". (I think that it was a Saber).

Lord almighty, those were the days!

I don't like flickr. They make posting actual pics in a post a pain in ... er well.. they make it very difficult.

It is nearly effortless, and these days Flickr is up far more consistently than Photobucket.

Two clicks from the "photo stream" index page. One on the image, one on the 'share' icon that pops up when you mouse over the photo. You may need one more click to switch the default dialog from the direct link to the BBCode, but it remembers your choice, so two clicks thereafter.

Of course, it helps if you use the "camera roll" auto-upload feature. Then you don't even need to worry about uploading your own photos at all, and you can make them public and get the link at your leisure.

My only gripe is that they don't give you the option to shut off the added text in the tags, but I just nuke it while I'm formatting my post anyway. :)

I posted that from my iPhone in Tapatalk. I still can't figure out how to get the actual photo URL from the Flickr app. [emoji26]

Thanks for posting the yellow Bucks, John. For some reason (maybe the contrast with the blue shield), I like that Buck shade of yellow better than Case's yeller delrin. But I feel morally obligated to add at least one example of a Case yeller knife to my accumulation sometime.

I think I only have 3 knives with yellow covers.

Kind of an odd-ball yellow but that's the color Queen calls this - Squash Bone Yellow Trapper.
