Yelling at the tv - forged in fire

I brand new shinny piece of W1 drill rod slid in for the axle. And two knuckle heads on there trying to cut a chunk of the fake canon barrel for blades. Too funny!:D

Yeah just what I thought. Thy cut it open, damn it’s hallow. Facepalm

The sword graveyard episode had one comment where the guard was 1080 or 1084 iirc when the guy with the huge bearing had to get different steel.

Just watched episode 7 and it has to be the most painful episode to date. I felt absolutely sick to my stomach for one of the contestants. Be safe out there guys

Oh man, that guy needs a hug. I mean... it was a dumb idea to put his oil over a propane burner, inside his shop... but boy do I feel for him.

A Veteran, PTSD, shop fire, 10 hr sword.... man.... talk about pushing through. I honestly think FIF should have kicked him a consolation prize. I wouldn't be surprised if a viewer does make a donation. If I was in a better position, I would. Almost brought a tear to my eye.

I told the wife if I was the other guy I would have split the check with him. Wonder how hard it would be to find him. Could send a box of 15n20 his way.

I was just typing out the same thing! Minus the steel... I could find something around here.

Find this guy! He's on Facebook.. Liam Patrick Fuller

Cans believe that guys mild steel blade made it through the ice chop. Also That was the worst delam I have ever seen. As cocky as that kid was which I hate. I think he could have gone all the way if he would have just done it like he was sapost to.

Ok I found him. His full name is
Liam Patrick Fuller. Just sending him a message now to see if he would be open to receiving some “get well soon” packages

I beat you to JT.(4 posts above).. which means I am the Social Media Stalker Champion!

Rats. So should we start a separate thread related to this Liam “care” package topic?

That was a hard episode to watch. Shop fire aside, it felt like most of those contestants didn't have the experience or knowledge. The judges lucked out with the teenager not following the rules.

I agree though, if the teen followed the rules, he would have went all the way.

Is season 5 the one with the steel crossbow? The contestants were among the best i've seen. All four of them managed a passable damascus in three hours. One failed only because his blade was a quarter inch short (he failed to fold the billet and had to break off half of it.) The remaining three did very well in the cutting test.
