Yellow/orange Assist

My only thought on lumenscent is that i have had bad experiences with the glow in the dark Pace counting beads, especially in cold weather, they tend to crack more easily than the regular ones.

But a small tritium bubble insert like used on a gun sight might work I dunno.

Hi Viz orange is not a problem. Sometimes luminescent is good.

We made an orange proto of the Assist when we introduced the model. We wanted to see acceptance response on the model before dooubling the SKUs.

We've since made a number of refinements to the model (refine the shape of the carbiide tip and made the tip replaceable) - refined the "blunt tip" to double for prying).

We've had good reports from all over including the Russian govt and the British Antarctica team.

I don't mind making an orange one. Coming right up.

Are these new Mods or ones in the current Design ?

Sal Glesser: You Da Man !:D

Ther new mods have already been incorporated in the tooling last year. These mods are already on our current model.

We'll just add color.

The Attention Given to costomer posts by this company and Sal Glasser in particular would be enough to make me a Spyderco fan even if I wasnt already

This is the reason that I buy 10 Spydercos for every one of any other knife. At the risk of sounding like a Apple Computer user, I feel like I am part of the Spyderco community and not just a number.

As soon as the orange one is available, I am buying one. I was in the market already but it was not my top priority. Now it is going to be my car knife. Cool!

Any chance of a special run where we can get first dibs or something? I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is.

i just ordered one, i should have waited for the orange one i guess but it will be a car knife and i have more than one car:D . Sal i never knew your wife was in the fire/ems trade. it is nice to have people in the company that know the job and its needs. like i said before anytime you are in Chicago, stop by the firehouse for lunch or dinner.

I own two black ones and will be ordering at least two of the orange ones and probably more in the next months to come. I have wanted a yellow/orange assit for a long time. Sal, your customer service is amazing.

This is really great!! I am on board for a couple of these.

I have several Hunting knives with Blaze Orange G-10, I like the feel and appreciate the Hi Viz factor.

Look forward to this one.
