Y'all warned me and it is true, you cannot have just one.

I could not resist adding a "King" - BK9 - to the "Companion" - BK22. Seems no Becker fan is complete without one.

Now the wait for the mailman.....

I'm in the same predicament - sitting here waiting patiently for the mailman with my BK9 and 24. Foot tapping..
 
So true, I've got a 9, and ordering a5, 15, and 24 tonight from coyle, can't have just one... My 9 is lonely lol
 
I second getting a 5 & 15 before they are gone forever, I bought them and am very glad that I did. They are so different than your "typical knives, oh so agile are they.
 
The BK-9 arrived today and this thing is nice. Feels perfect in terms of weight.

Quick question - Do all Beckers "bite" when saying "Hello"? I thought the small cut from the BK-22 was a fluke, but now the BK-9 decided to "bite" me during the first "Hello" too. I have seen the "bite" thread, but I thought that happens after, not during the initial inspection. I have handled many blades, most even sharper, without a knick but both Beckers decided to "bite" me right out of the gate.

Maybe I was just too excited and came on too strong for their liking, but after a few minutes they are now happy in my hands. I am sure both these blades will perform when needed.
 
I got bit by my 5 while purchasing it, putting it back in the sheath. Barely tapped it with a finger and got me good.

Still loved it then, and love it now.
 
My bk5 also bit me.

I think they are caused by the excitement becker knives cause, we know they are sharp but get distracted by the steely goodness.

All the big ones do!

The 5 is a notorious biter. All 3 of mine have bit me and all with the tip. It's gotta be that trailing point. It puts the tip out were you don't expect it from other profiles.

Yep. My BK2 was looking lonely so I ordered BK5 and BK15 from the endangered list. Should be here Wednesday. This could become an affliction. But a lot better for you than Lays.
