What is this "Busse" you speak of? 375 for a knife??

    I guess I'd take one, y'know, if I couldn't get a Ginsu.

(Comon. They cut cans as easily as they cut a tomato.)

Yeah, I was thinkin early 90's or maybe mid 90's
I was a rookie cop in '93, and seems like I remember seeing an ad for a Silent Knight. A lot like the ad for the steel heart there.
I could be wrong though. That's been a long time ago.

The old ads were very cool. They have the old skeleton ad, the alphabet soup ad, they were very original and often took swipes at other lesser knives.
I've got most of them uploaded to photobucket but don't even know if I have access to that account anymore.

    :D:D

That was my guess too. The original Steel Heart was history by the time I stumbled onto Busse knives; I think that was around 1999-2000 or so - I can remember seeing the SHSHII, SHBM and a Basic 9 at a show in Dayton Ohio. I finally bought a Basic 9 in late 2001, and it was all downhill from there. :D

Jerry not only has the best blade steel in the best knife models...as if that wasn't enough >>> he's the Mark Twain of writing copy for knife ads to boot!

Great Busse Ad resource link from Eric I: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/some-busse-advertising.1256534/

I wish we could get an official Busse Combat Company knife advertisement archive of ALL the ads, merch, swag, etc. <if possible> and make it a sticky here @Jerry Busse
