Yet another Spoon carving video but trust me it's a good one!

From log to rough out in 7 and a half minutes...using only a hatchet! Beyond impressive. I kept waiting for him to shear off the spoon end when he was working on the handle!
 
awesome video, but the whole carving toward himself made me nervous.. I would be scared the whole time of the ghost of my grandfather smacking me in the back of my head "never cut toward yourself boy".
