I think my sty is gone.. can't feel it anymore and I can't see it when I peel my eyelid back... Suck part is I starting to feel hot, like fever hot and my feet are freaking freezing and it is kind of hot here today.. can't afford to get sick right now. :mad:

I saw that last night. I instantly wanted it, but it was already sold. Its looks like an awesome knife for sure.

Wow, really nice.

On a side note, the son and I went fishing at the lake today. Didn't get a single bite, but had a blast. Need to get more son time in.

I was done before.... sitting here on the balcony soaking it in and I can say that I'm definitely done now.

Yeah, isn't it crazy? 73° right now, with a high of 32° tomorrow, and 1-3" of snow possible, haha. I think this will be the last snow of the season.

Trying to tough it out is only going to make it take longer to get over. Address it now.
 
72° here, thunderstorms tonight, snow with no accumulation for tomorrow. At least there's no tornado watch....yet.
 
We are supposed to get between 15-20cm of snow tonight / tomorrow. I really hope it doesn't snow that much....The piles on the sides of my driveway have sank a foot already and don't need to be stocked back up.
 
Odd question for you folks: The ESEE Candiru, it's roughly the size of a BK13 Remora, right?
 
Don't remember the size of the Candi, however if you're gonna get one I'd say wait till June. Jeff announced they are switching them to a molded sheath instead of the cordura.

From what I saw, that would help out a lot compared to the nylon sheath they come with.
I found a pretty good price on another forum for a used one with G10 scales. Just wondering since I'm still tempted to get a small knife that I don't mind traveling with. i.e. won't be too tore up if it went missing in a bag. I think my own BK13 is starting to win.
 
Dex, for the win! Thanks. So overall, yes. But there are quite a few differences. It looks taller, the handle shape is much different and there is a bit more belly to it.

No problem Jerry!

I usually pick Beckers over my ESEE's every time, but the Candiru is one of my favorite little knives and prefer it over the remora. Great design. If you get one and don't like it, I'll buy it from ya! haha. Been looking for a second one anyway.

Its thicker than a 13, but still sharp as sin. Very comfy in a 3 finger hold with grips added. I almost ground a choil in to get a full grip because even with a finger cut out of the blade, it would still be a great little knife.
I like mine, but HATE the sheath, and am going to be doing something so I can carry mine regularly.
