Long night. Blew a tire 15 miles into my night. Then I couldn't get ahold of my boss. Ended up getting his brother to track him down for me. Wound up 2.5 hours late and they griped at me like it was my fault the tire blew. It looked fine when I was checking the truck over before I took off, so there wasn't much I could have done. Funny thing is that when bit blew it took out a 1/4 fender that my boss just replaced on Sunday. It took him a good 8 months to replace the old broken one. Hopefully he gets a new one again right away.

Thanks WW. I guess when you drive something with 18 wheels you are bound to lose one once in a while. The tires we run are $500+ a piece, so we keep up with maintenance on them, but stuff happens. It is weird how a tire that looks fine can just blow out if nowhere. It usually happens in the middle of summer when its super hot out......not when it'd cool like this.

I believe I'm going to break out the little Weber charcoal grill tomorrow and make some burgers or something. Our weather changed dramatically from last week. We went from temps well below zero to highs in the low 40s. Its been absolutely beautiful the last few days and the forecast looks just as good for the next ten days.

The only bad thing is my ice fishing is getting closer and closer to an end. I'm going to get in a LOT more fishing this summer, so I guess the ice going away is OK with me too!!

Why are my neighbors always rude to me? Is it because I don't have curtains in the living room?
