CBear, I doubt this one is gonna make the rounds, but there will be more when I get back on the dang horse! (Mr. Secondary market)

Guyon, I want to eat that thing that sounds like that other thing. Damn, that looks good.

That one is gorgeous man! When you get back we gotta work something out... I have something I want you to make, time won't be an issue so just take your time on it and when it's ready it's ready.

Well the yard caught on fire and it was headed for two neighbors houses and it took 45 mins for the volunteers to get here and my rake broke and and and.............

Damn!

Did you at least get it put out in time and make the burns worth it?

We had pasture burn get away from us and damn near make it to a few hundred acres of state owned timber.

The sort of frantic panic involved in that is not a good feeling.

I hope you heal well and quickly.

Yes it melted a bit of siding on one building but that was it.

One of my friends son is turning 7 today. Amanda and I are going to his birthday party. I asked my friend for any ideas for gifts. He told me that he has enough stuff and wants his son to be able to do stuff and learn. Anything to do with the outdoors. He even said he would be fine if I gave him a knife as long as I spend time with him to teach him how to use it and be safe with it. Get him some gear so he can have adventures.

Since I love getting kids off the couch and into exploring the woods he is getting a back pack full of goodies and a brand new BK-16. So between the gear and the fishing trips I have promised him I might just get one more kid off of the couch.

Now I have to find some confidence building projects for him to do with his BK-16 to further instill that it is a tool not a weapon and that what he makes with that tool will make his experience better.

Good deal man. There's a looooot of kids out there that need to get outdoors.

there's a lunatic fishing on the ice this morning. Great view over the Bowl.
Gotta get me some breakfast and coffee! Running late today, but it looks nice out.

So yesterday while I was sleeping my house mates thought it would be cute to celebrate St. Patrick's day by hanging green streamers all across my door frame and down the hall just low enough that I would have to duck but high enough they didn't (they're female and I'm probably a good 8"+ taller than them).

So to get back I got some plastic wrap and I'm going to stretch it across their door frames later so they catch it in the face when they walk through the door. :D

getting out now!
(not outdoorsey, but out of the house at least)

Make sure to get it nice and tight so it's harder to see!

Saran wrap the toilet bowl, so when they pee, or get sick from drinking for Saint Paddys Day, it bounces back on them ..lol Not the lid or seat, but the actual bowl.
