Three cups of coffee... check
Took the little feller out to the inlaws to go for a toot on his little sled... check
Time for an appointment with the inlaws financial adviser because we need life insurance.... definitely not stoked about this one but we need it..

I keep thinking more and more about getting life insurance. There are too many people dieing way to early. I lost a friend on Friday that was only 27. He was just declared cancer free and decided he wanted to move down to Florida after going to the Daytona 500 and falling in love with the area. He went back this week to look for a job and a place to live and ended up wrecking a motorcycle. Guess someone had other plans for him.

Yep, with two kids and a third on the way I can't risk anything happening to me and not having anything substantial to assist my family with.

The meeting was painless and because we met with the guy who manages my inlaws money we get a discount. For $300,000 coverage for the next 35 years it worked its way out to be $72 bucks a month.

Well today so far has been awesome... Been tearing down fence so my tornado shelter can be put in place. It rained most of yesterday and last night, its around 35+ degrees outside with wind gusts probably maxing out around 30-40MPH+. Tearing down one section of privacy fence that has probably been there since the 80s, and another section of chainlink behind it. Trying to get it done because the tornado shelter people were slated for tomorrow and this is the only day I really have to do it. WELL... I am rushing around and the guy called and said "well its been raining a lot do you want to reschedule?! (Did I mention I tried to get a hold of him already to reschedule??!) Conflicted because I am happy I am not out in the nasty-ness anymore, but now I dont have a privacy fence.... :grumpy: LOL good news is now I can take my time with it, I will probably have some help next time I am working on it, the weather should get better, BUT I wish he would have called me YESTERDAY before I demolished my back yard... Oh well, no use complaining too much. As nasty as it is outside, and even though its been tough going, there is something about hard work that just puts a smile on your face. I enjoy the heck out of it despite. And I know there are folks out there A LOT less fortunate than I am... Plus my little girl just walked up to me, gave me a kiss, and said "Daddy you are doing perfect work, thank you!" LOL kids...

Drinking beer at Todd's... I hope I don't cut myself.

I neither over- nor under- indulged last night. I just indulged. No penalty today. Made bacon and banana pancakes for breakfast, and started the chili we're having for dinner with the bacon grease; used it to brown the ground beef and onions. Crock pot is now going full steam. And yes, it's chili con carne - which should end the debate that chili IS beans, with the meat added if one chooses. Have an excellent day, folks.

Hope your hands feel better today, Psy.

I agree with you most times... Not always... But most... But I like you better every time you post..

+1 on the chili

Heh heh

Awesome pic there... dont see a thing I dont like.

+1. That skull looking push dagger that is on the blue towel is peeking my interest. The one at the end of the table is that the bowie Todd has been working on?

Go to Todd's subforum real fast... There may or may not be a few pictures up. :)
I can't stand posting from my phone, or I'd put a few more up here.

Sick!

What kind of bone did he use for the skull cap?

I'm also digging the design of the hornet..... fathers day is coming I think I may need to drop a few hints on the wife

The Hornet is very functional and a great gift for Father's Day. Christine and I both own one. It's a must-have!

Hornet is where little knife meets big possibilities.

Another dude with a guitar. Eh.
At least he's less sensitive than the guy from last Thursday.
