Y'all realize anyone can see this thread, right?

Do you kiss your Mom or your kids with that mouth? Young persons and folks who simply don't want to hear filthy talk come here. :grumpy:

We're supposed to be ambassadors of goodwill and encourage civility. For goodness' sakes...

If ya wanna use them nasty cuss words, there's a place for that.

Who you talking to James?

If me, I really don't think I said anything particularly bad. Nothing that would warrant anything higher than a PG-13 rating, and yeah I have no problem "kissing my mother" with my mouth cause this is no where near as bad as I've been known to talk. This IS the edited version of me. Which isn't something that happens very often.

I believe he was referring to you and Dubz and your gratuitous use of the word Krekles...:D

Not sure on the weight, think it is 5 lbs. Oh well No room for beer anyway

I bet Crimson will help you out if he has the time when you are here. He's a super nice guy. I cant wait to get back down to his place and work on my knife some more. My Tahoe is in the shop getting a new engine. Cant wait it back and get back to normal.

5lbs? Better get two...

Hoss, let me know when you are gonna be in town and I'll do what I can to help you out. Mauser, I'm looking forward to helping you work on that blade some more.

That would be awesome. The handle scales came loose on a machete I have so I was thinking about elongating the handle by grinding out the unsharpened bit at the base of the blade and putting on longer handle scales.

I have no plans to head up that way at the moment. My schedule is pretty open, maybe the three of us could all do a mini gathering for an afternoon.

Hey aren't snark threads supposed to have 1,000 posts before getting locked? When I checked it there were only 999.

Kids and Moms hear far worse on TV and in today's music than is ever said in here. I'm not condoning what was said, or giving credence to the rebuttal, but it wasn't even that noticable until it was called out. I had to go back and read what was said......so, there you go.

Morning, folks. Why is an IZULA tempting me? I'm good to go as far as small fixed blades go. I have my trusty old BK11 and my new favorite Magua.....

I was thinking pick up a smaller, production, and sub $60 blade before I do some traveling this Spring - i.e. Spyderco Delica, but it looks like the Izzy is roughly the same size, a bit cheaper and I doubt I'll feel like I'd break the dern thing if I need to use it. Oh, and I'd definitely get the gawd awful bright green one. I have to try to offend everyone - non knife people because it is a fixed blade and knife people because it is gawd awful bright green.

I like the way you think. Now it remains to be seen if you have the krekles to go through with it.

Sounds good to me Jerry. Offend away! haha

Sorry... Got distracted. Looks like Spyderco has a little slipjoint out now with a secondary bottle opener blade.

Tha Krek I won't!

It sounds like you guys think it's a pretty good plan, which also mean I should probably rethink it.... Ah, Krek it.

Izula is a perfect size for front pocket carry.
I can loan you one if you want to try it out - but it won't be lime green...
oh, yeah - and BK14 scales will fit it, too....

Three is the place to be!

Good morning folks. I think I need another cup of coffee, or two.

Got all the chores done yesterday...gun sold, silencer picked up, bought a queen and a full size bed frame, foundation and mattress at IKEA, assembled the queen bed at my son's apartment, loaded his old twin mattress for return trip home, had Vietnamese pho with my daughter and her boyfriend. This was the first time we had met him, and actually is the first guy she has been willing to call "boyfriend" (and she's 22, so she's had pretty high standards). Despite everyone's fears, I did not make him feel too uncomfortable or threaten to kill him if he hurts her. I think it was implied though...

More coffee now. You guys carry on...

Because small pocketable fixed blades that dont break the bank, are made of carbon steel, and actually perform well are awesome... Love me some small fixed blades when they have good handles... you can put sooo much power behind the cut, always have it on you, and use it for anything... have always wanted to try out an izzy, but for me the bk11/14 give you so much more, plus the price to performance ratio etc. That being said I almost pulled the trigger on an izzy2 before I went to Chicago last year (basically a traveling blade like you are wanting), but ended up carrying and bringing a plethora of blades because I have a problem and not buying the izzy2. ALL that being said if I had a Magua... I'd be cutting the you know what out of everything in site... Super jealous.. or as the kids say... "Totes Jelly.... Totes Magotes..."
