A Krekel sure does sound good about now:

unholy Krekel, put some nice white sauce on that, and swirl it around, make it hot with some more sauce, maybe a little sausage, oh yeah, dripping with grease,

gunna sink some big fatty meat into my craw hole and masticate that until it's smooth and creamy and then insinuate that into my alimentary canal...

then stick it in again, and do it again, and then yah, mmm. dirty food.

you mother krekel

Morning, folks. Why is an IZULA tempting me? I'm good to go as far as small fixed blades go. I have my trusty old BK11 and my new favorite Magua.....

I was thinking pick up a smaller, production, and sub $60 blade before I do some traveling this Spring - i.e. Spyderco Delica, but it looks like the Izzy is roughly the same size, a bit cheaper and I doubt I'll feel like I'd break the dern thing if I need to use it. Oh, and I'd definitely get the gawd awful bright green one. I have to try to offend everyone - non knife people because it is a fixed blade and knife people because it is gawd awful bright green.
Go for the pink one, and wrap it with bright krekling green paracord. Make it look like a watermelon.

I like the way you think. Now it remains to be seen if you have the krekles to go through with it.
Seriously, no krekles!

Youse guys and your kegal burgers have me crackin up.

Just called Krekels. Open from 10:30 to 9 today. See ya's later, going for a double Krekel with cheese, no, make that a triple Krekel with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions.
Yup, so much hate right now! Go enjoy it. Try the chili too, it's good!

Wish that woman would get it in gear. Here I am craving a triple Krekel, and she's in there worrying about what to wear, haha.

I believe he was referring to you and Dubz and your gratuitous use of the word Krekles...:D

I didn't write the rules, and I'm not a mod here. So I'll leave it at that :)

In other news, don't even start learning how to smoke your food with wood chips unless you're prepared to commit to it. 'Cause according to our recent research, once you try it, you won't want to cook meat any other way. So far we've had delicious pork chops, sausages, chicken, burgers and beef roast. We're gonna try a hame next weekend.

One unexpected bonus is that we now have a nice bag of hickory and pear-wood charcoal left over. The only downside is, we're out of propane. But that can be addressed pretty easily...

I'd leave her*, tell her I'd bring her back one.

*This is coming from a bachelor, I do not recommend taking my advice unless you as well wish to be a bachelor.

Ah new snark thread huh, didn't get in on the last one much, been busy. Knives, job, life. I did manage to cut the hell out of my thumb the other day on my bandsaw. That's about all the new news here. :o

Izula is a perfect size for front pocket carry.
I can loan you one if you want to try it out - but it won't be lime green...
oh, yeah - and BK14 scales will fit it, too....
Thank you! That is an incredibly kind offer, Vic; however, I don't want to put you through the trouble. Especially since I already know I love small fixed blades. :D

Because small pocketable fixed blades that dont break the bank, are made of carbon steel, and actually perform well are awesome... Love me some small fixed blades when they have good handles... you can put sooo much power behind the cut, always have it on you, and use it for anything... have always wanted to try out an izzy, but for me the bk11/14 give you so much more, plus the price to performance ratio etc. That being said I almost pulled the trigger on an izzy2 before I went to Chicago last year (basically a traveling blade like you are wanting), but ended up carrying and bringing a plethora of blades because I have a problem and not buying the izzy2.
I don't really need another, so what you did is probably what I ought to do.... Just grab a SAK, my Griptilian and my BK13 and/or the BK11.

Oh yes, I know how awesome the 11 is. I was also thinking about something smaller that isn't a slip joint. This is why I thought "Delica," but the Delica just doesn't do it for me. I can't open it worth a dern and it just doens't feel right in my hand.... Then I realized the Izzy is close to the size of the Delica opened and actually a bit cheaper than the Spydie and the part of my brain that rationalizes irrational decisions started to kick in.

ALL that being said if I had a Magua... I'd be cutting the you know what out of everything in site... Super jealous..
You should be. It is my hands-down favorite small fixed blade. It is the obvious choice; however, I would be awfully sad if it showed up missing in checked luggage. :(
just for that comment - Magua picture.

It's a crappy one, but it seemed appropriate.

or as the kids say... "Totes Jelly.... Totes Magotes..."
I don't know what you're saying and honestly, it confuses me a bit.... Should I take offense?

Go for the pink one, and wrap it with bright krekling green paracord. Make it look like a watermelon.
Brilliant!

Foodwise, Jimmy Johns is FAR more offensive. The amount of liquor I need in my system to enjoy Jimmy Johns is ridiculous. However Kreckles is always welcome!

Now, Krek away

Alright C-Bear, I've heard you spout off some crazy things here in the snark thread.
I've sat by idley and have never caused a stir...
How dare you insult and soil the good name of Jimmy Johns! :D
That soft, chewy bread...the fast and friendly service.
Shame on you C-Bear! :D

I only get to enjoy Jimmy Johns about once a year when I'm out of town. If there was one close, I'd probably eat there all the time and end up hating it...

P.S.- I hope somebody kicks you in the krekles! :D

You gotta be careful with them power tools bubbas! I did something similar at the first gathering I went to. Ended up having my 14 sheath mounted upside down and sliced the ever-loving hell out of my thumb.

Seriously, isn't that what Murph's for?
is THAT what Murph is for... I always wondered.
I'll second Vik's offer, I'd let you check out the Izula or the Iz-II if you'd prefer, hell even both if you want to try them.

See, I have a JJ with in delivery distance from here. There are times I like it, and honestly it's my preferred sandwich when drinking. Unless it's a burger night, then it's White Castle (don't ask). TO be fair though also, I have yet to have them be friendly.

After I started advertising how great the BK9 is, the price has gone up. No, really! On the famous site named after the jungle in south america, the price went from $74 (what I paid) to $90 over 2 months!

Damn that Krekel was good. I opted for the double cheese Krekel, with bacon, (duh) and grilled onions.

Behold thine Krekel:

I'm going to be whipping up some burgers here after awhile. Thinking I might mix some bratwurst in with the patty. Murrica!
