On the KW site it doesn't say "pre order" anymore. Just the price. I wonder if not all of the first 500 have been spoken for (?)

I think it just means that they finally have the first batch in stock and that the first batch is 500 instead of 400. I don't think they've sold all of the 500 yet otherwise it'd be out of stock.

I don't get this knife. What is the appeal? The blade geometry does nothing for me. Kinda looks like an expensive modified box cutter. What would this knife be used for? It seems like it's a very niche blade. Help me understand.
