Yojimbo 2 S90V Knifeworks exclusive pre-order

For those that were on the fence, this one just got a 5% discount.

Gah! I can't handle spyderco this year. Too many designs I want. I thought I could hold out on this one. But the fact that it's still available coupled with the discount and the sneaking suspition that this will be my only shot at it.....

Knifeworks, you forced my hand. I blame you for this.

Haha I know exactly how you feel.

I just got a standard Yojimbo 2 about a week ago and it is a great blade.
The blade profile is very handy.
Now I like it so much I just ordered the KW S90V sprint.

It is kind of ugly but awesome nonetheless.

It's funny how tastes vary. I find the Yo2 to be one of the best looking folders ever made. Especially the S90V version with CF handle. Simply gorgeous. But everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I also think the Chubby is a great looking knife too. But not everyone seems to agree with me on that one either.

I guess ugly really wasn't my opinion of the Yo2, more like the very unorthodox style is what initially held me off from buying one, plus they seemed to be out of stock for a long time.

Anyway I just got the KW S90V Sprint in the post today and it is pretty damn nice.
I really doubt I would of bought this if I didn't get the S30V first and try that first.
The KW Yo2 is a tad pricey but I now feel it is well worth it.
I know this is supposed to be a SD folder but I find it to be a very good work knife.
It excels at cutting thick zip ties that are secured tightly because of the pointy tip.

So far this is the only knife that has knocked my Manix2 S110V out of my pocket since May and that says a lot there.
This has been a great year for some excellent Spyderco releases.

I agree that this year has had some fantastic Spyderco releases with still more on the way. I'm hoping to receive much Spyderco steel this Christmas (if not from someone else then from myself).

Have a standard Yo2 but this one has become my new EDC over the Dice and Kahr Delica.

Looks like the sale for the Yo2-S90V at KW is back on !

Got mine on the way! Really looking forward to this one. I originally planned to wait until the second run, but these don't seem to be moving quite as quick as I would have expected. I got worried Knifefworks may not do the optional second run and decided to jump on it.

On another note, Knifeworks is the best! Their Facebook page indicated the 5% sale on Spyderco's, so I sent them an email late Sunday asking if it applied to the Yo2 S90V. Got an email back Monday saying yes and that they had updated the price. Decided to place the order this morning. Got an email right away saying order accepted. Another an hour later saying ready to ship. And another this afternoon saying shipped with a tracking number and expected delivery of Thursday. Not my first order from Knifeworks, but they never cease to impress me with their customer service!
