My first Busse

A SteelHeart E, I got from Aundre (Papathud) many many years ago 2001 or earlier.

I thought 300.00 was really expensive for a knife back then. LOL

Luckily I was able to trade sheath work for it .

Still have her.

Forsaken TG, bought on a whim because I wanted a Busse ever since seeing the Battle Mistress online back in '99-00. It has since been traded but I've added a few dozen in its place. First thing I told my wife when I got the Forsaken TG in hand was " Well sh!t, this is going to get expensive." I was right.
 
Stealth Hawk. It was our start with Busse Combat and we became their biggest outlet for them. The great relationship continues to this day and can't wait to see how it develops...
 
Basic 5 —and after going through scores of Bussekin since then, I still have it. I remember the day it came from Busse—first thing I said when I held it in hand was, “That’s a perfect knife!”

Unfortunately no longer have this fine blade. My first happened to be one of the most useful as well.

YzJkf4I.jpegMy friend needed a nice knife. He likes to hike mountains (he's starting to do those big boy climbs now) so I gave him my Mudd Mutt.

I love this knife. They are so useful.. Basically an Anorexic RMD with Mudder handles. Thing is just a sick no frills, no excuses, good at being a knife.. knife lol.

I honestly think it should be one of those knives that's on sykcos site in perpetuity but alas.. I guess we only like 3 ¹/2" blades now (not knocking it by any means.. love my 1020 like a mofo)
 
I got lucky. My first Busse was a FBM-LE. (Leftmost Busse)

Still have it, but I tend to carry the NMFSH (2nd to the right) when I go camping as its cosmetically paired with an elmax slicer which I love for food prep! That might change if i had had an elmax slicer with Snakeskin, but I dont.

Way back in 2013. Custom Shop Pumpkin RMD. Unused for $175. Thought that was a steep price for a knife. I’ve wised up since then...😂
Yes. I still have it. As with all my Bussekin. Photo? Currently safe-kept in another location.
