Here we go again, the title pretty much says it all. I think someone asked last time if I meant any Spyderco knife or any Spyderco knife they own. Either, if you would only take one knife that you haven't owned I'm sure you have a good reason. :)

So which Benchmade if you could only have one? And why? Let em fly!

well, the only Benchmade i own is the Nimravus, but if i could have my pick i'd want the Activator!

it's so beautiful, S30V, and it's actually legal for carry here in Maine :D

The BM 710, plainedge, satin finish. This is the only BM I have and it's the only one I want- the best production folder on the planet.

Hmmmm, believe it or not for EDC I'd have to stick with my mini-grip.
That little knife is about as perfect a EDC pocket-knife as I've seen, even though I do fondle and "ooh & ahh" over my 940's more for some reason...........those are almost too nice to use for EDC or maybe I'm just a cheap a$$ :o

Not much experience on this one but my BM 806 D2 is very nice, Though I havnt brought myself to use it yet. I woul also like a 710 and a Doug Ritter Grip!

I guess if I had to pick one, Id take the Ritter Grip in S30V.

The 805...That is by far my all-time favorite folder! It fits my hand perfectly and securely, the blade-shape is excellent, and the way that Benchmade "does" 440C steel is awesome.

I'd have to say the 210 Activator. I don't have mine yet but I will tomorrow :D. I'm really learning to appreciate small fixed blades and I know the Activator will be a keeper/carrier.

921 Switchback. It looks classy, works hard, and is made from one of the best steels out there.

806 D2 AFCK, for all the usual reasons. BM does do an excellent job with 440C thought, so the 805 might be a runner up.

I think that Mr. Thombrogan will know what my answer will be. :D

My answer to the question is my 705 Forum Knife. #18 to be precise. :D

I can't believe that no one posted the obvious choice (and the only Benchmade I own), the 630. Top notch materials, great fit and finish, useful size, relatively flat and easy to carry - what's not to like? :D

Oh my. I could have picked from any number of other Benchmade favorites already mentioned, but as it happens, the Benchmade knife that occurs to me would be "the ONE I could have" would be the 100SH20 -- Dive Knife in H-1 Steel.

It's a fixed blade in a decent sheath, mine has taken a razor-keen edge, it has a few serrations for utility and a good stretch of plain edge too, it has great high-vis handle scales, and is made of a steel that they say won't rust. :D A pretty well-rounded knife, in my view.

Have to be my 710HS or maybe the 921S Switchback. The 921 is becoming a favorite the more I carry it.
