I could live with just this...been carrying it since it came in the door. :D

At the moment I would probably choose my newly aquired Large Classic Sebenza but if you had asked me about a monthe ago it would have been my Manix no doubt  .

It depends. Can you carry other tools or not? Or is this strictly about knife-related tasks, and which one knife would you choose to accomplish them?

If I can't carry other tools, a saw equipped SAK like a OHT (Longer saw and blade, locking) or a Vic Camper (Second blade) would be my choice.

If I could pack a pocket saw if I felt so inclined, I'd pick a Manix or Opinel 12. The Opinel would have a longer blade which would serve me well with batoning, but the Manix has a sturdier handle assembly and lock.

Only one folder? My Spyderco Manix would be my main blade. It is a beast and still easy to carry. I sliced through some cardboard boxes last night with ease. I'm sure it could deal with some light chopping too. I also enjoy the G-10 scales which are very grippy.

Talon,
That is one of the finest looking knives I have ever seen. Is it an SMF or SnG. Did you buy it that way or was it custmized later. How can I contact that person.
Thanks
John

Right now my manix. In the future, I probably will say the same about my Hinderer XM-18 when I get it.

Vic Rucksack (it's worked for years) or possibly the Vic OH Fireman when i eventually get one.
