You can only keep 1 EDC. What is it today? Yes, I searched similar threads. I'm downsizing my life. Photos in thread.

ONCE AGAIN:

For many years now, my EDC has been one or another iteration of the Leatherman Wave. I find it to be more rugged and more versitile than an SAK or a "Gents "pocket folder.

If I need something more elegant for suit wear, or more capable for rougher outdoor usage, I have what I need. However, they merely suppliment my EDC Wave.

I seem to be in a constant state of evolving my collection but I always try and stay below 10 knives. To me having a lot of things sitting around just gets to my mind. I'm trying to reduce to maybe my favorite 5 and stop for a while.
I carried a total of 3 knives for 20 years or so. Now I carry multiple knives weekly and have some that I won't ever use. I could easily live with just 5 knives. I'd have a hard time picking them out, but once that was out of the way, five would be plenty. For the moment I'm indulging myself. Good luck :)

Not that long ago I would just carry one knife until something happened to it. Then I got caught up in the steel race and it went down hill fast. I've done way too much buying this holiday so I have to reduce back down but I think I have a good idea of what I'll be hanging onto at this point. Just need to decide to get rid of the ones I don't enjoy carrying for long.

Hinderer Eklipse….Bowie, tanto or Wharncliffe, doesn’t matter. All 3.
This Bowie has seen as much use as any knife I own. Probably a lot worse too. It just keeps working. It’s a good size for edc and the ergos are great.

Oh man, in the end, I could live with that as well. Maybe I will have to after the next divorce. This stuff is definetly more expensive then knife collecting🙃

Thinking about it, my list is absolutly untouchable in regards of critics😂

BM Superfreek (edc since 2 years, hardly misused and never sharpened, still shaving👍🏻)

Cold Steel AD 10 (backup)
Cold Steel AD 15 (fidgety backup)
Spyderco Manix 2XL (actually cuts stuff)
Svord Tempsky Bowie (you brought an axe? REALLY?)

ONE?!? errr ... I'm taking at least 4 or five knives with me when I get u in a box and planted ... heck!!! I'm taking three archery bows (two ... mebby three traditional (2 barebow) and a compound bow along (with arrows, archery thumb ring, compound release, archer's gauntlet, and string wax ... too. Won't know if they go in spirit to the next life with me or not, until I go to the next life.
Since so many historic and prehistoric civilizations and societies around the world sent their dearly departed off with their knives, swords, archery, and other items, there is a slim chance they were correct that the items went with them ... even if not physically ... 😇👍

To choose just one for the remainder of my time on this rock?
Too many I enjoy using to pick just one. Tho to be honest, a Victorinox HUNTSMAN would be a top contender, based on practicality.
(Yes. The Huntsman and a HERCULES are "going wih me".)

I took am unloading my collection so my kids don't have to. Fortunately for them I only have about 60 knives.
A Spyderco Endura is a good choice for 1 only knife. I carried on fo years.
My Severtech would be my choice for a solo knife as in will do about anything I need. At 6oz it's a bit heavy but what the heck, I'm only carrying one knife.
