You can only pick one EDC...only one what do you choose??

Victorinox One-Hand Trekker Knife (Campmor) or Victorinox SAK Soldier. Carried them in Rwanda, Balkans, tsunami, Katrina & Sandbox. Still use them daily to cut hundreds of boxes while making protective clothing kits for avian flu responders. Boring, but they do a lot of work for little coin.

I like "big" folders! You can do small things with a big knife. You cannot do big things with a small knife. My EDC is the 4.75 Harsey Tactical. I usually have a small knife on me so as not to scare the sheeple. I can do without that, though. I dont consider multi-toosl knives, so I would have my balck Leatherman Charge TI as well. SMF. Does what I need a knife to do. And if for some reason I use it to do something stupid and I break it, I know Mick will repair or replace it with no questions asked.

Wenger Handyman, or Cold Steel Gunsite II. I'd hate to actually have to decide, though. The SAK is awesome for just about anything relatively small, but the CS Gunsite II handles the bigger cutting chores much better, so...

Ill put in another vote for the Syderco Manix.....For me its he perfect edc knife.............

Small Classic Sebenza.

It's the one I carry and use nearly every day. Small, lightweight, flat, and the shape of the blade and quality make it a pleasure to work. It really keeps an edge, too.

These are on me every day but the Vic Explorer would be it for only one.

My current EDC is a Benchmade 710. Tough as nails and will handle everything I need a knife for... but if I could just have one...

Probably a Victorinox Farmer. Along with the 710 I also EDC a Soldier, and the Farmer is the same knife with the addition of a wood saw. It's a good sized SAK that isn't too thick and doesn't have any tools that I don't really use on a regular basis. I doubt I could build a very good shelter with it, but if I had to, I could probably get through a night with just the Farmer.

Exactly like me, except I carry a Millie instead of a 710.

Long live the Farmer!

Just one? Tough call. It would be either the Spyderco Ocelot or the BenchMade HK34FDP. (AKA 14200).

Not sure as both are flawless. I rather favor the Made in the USA thing BM has going for it so probably the HK.

Yeah. The 14200 is a very solid knife. Hard to beat.

my zt0220 its study stong and i know it wont fail on me when i need it its something i could trust my life on

If we still had access to Benchmade's customer service then it would be my BM806 with the AXIS lock. If no access to BM customer service, I'd go with my large classic Sebenza.
The Sebenza is rugged, reliable, simple, and easy to maintain.
