What are y’alls tips on removing tape residue? Here are mine.

1. Baby/mineral oil and some q tips. Spot clean.

2. Singer oil.

3. Soap and hot water (be careful with the hot water obviously).

4. Run and yell around your house like a madman and wake the neighbors up at 3 AM (don’t do this while holding a knife obviously, safety first and foremost).

I’ve also heard lighter fluid works well too but I’ve never tried that yet.
One of my coworkers will use a lighter to burn tape residue off of his knife. I have never seen anyone do that before.

I've had a bottle of that stuff since the late 90's and still have a lot left. Goes a long way.
Hah! Same here except I didnt even buy my bottle and still have tons left. I always wonder how companies like that make money. Another example is Snoseal...I have seriously had the same bottle for at least 15 years, andI use it frequently on sheaths boots etc.

I started buying and using Sno-Seal in the 70's. The last can I had lasted at least a couple of decades. I have a few other things that never run out, like Aqua-Seal.

I think we've pretty much covered the bases with this one...thanks, fellas (and ladies).
