Lithuanian and "14" and "sword"? Sounds like a bad day for the Teutonic Knights in the 1400s. How about this:

Grunwald Swords

Grunwald swords as shown in the coat of arms of the present-day commune of Grunwald
Type Battle swords
Place of origin Prussia
Service history
In service
Gift of the Teutonic Order to Poland and Lithuania, after 1410 Polish ceremonial swords
Used by Teutonic Order, after 1410 by Poland
Production history
Produced
before 1410
The Grunwald Swords (Polish: miecze grunwaldzkie) were a gift presented by Ulrich von Jungingen, the Grand Master of the Order of Teutonic Knights, to King Władysław II Jagiełło of Poland and Grand Duke Vytautas of Lithuania on 15 July 1410, just before the Battle of Grunwald(Tannenberg).

I'm sure it's something else. I want it to be the 14 samurai, because I want a short/baby butaniku. Samurai don't like losing. And it seems that Kardas could mean "brothers" in some language. And the samurai could be brothers in arms, or something. And there were clues that suggested doubling something, and 14 samurai is twice 7. And we all know about the seven samurai.

Id like to see a 47 inch Butaniku based on the ako incident, but Im having trouble tyin it in :D :oops::cool:

I was thinking in that direction as well, but on the Lithuanian side - their 14th century coat of arms depicts a sword wielding knight on horseback:

Im Fully convinced its a CBT Xiphos inspired forsaken gladious.

"when you least expect it....expect it" first google result is a brady bunch episode.

episode name is "Three Loads ago" = Three weeks ago.

In the episode they're dressed as spartans and the wife says "be carful with that sword."

Jerrys footnote "Keturiolika Kardas" means a 14 inch sword. Spartans used a Xiphos which would be perfect for a 14 inch length.

"For many, Victory is the only option" = the Spartan law from the movie 300 (number of credits for the riddle) says "NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER." So this quote from Jerry is definitley spartan worthy.

My last shot until another clue is given.

I'm hoping more for something along the lines of a nice big, long Crusader Sword of some sort. $300 shop credit = big piece of INFI?
