You know you are a REAL knife guy when....

When you paid more for the scales on a knife then the knife is worth. Yes Benchmade Griptilian I'm talking about you LOL

When you wake up late but still have time to pick up that knife and open and close it a few times.

When I should be sleeping now because I'm beyond tired but I'm not because I'm on Bladefourms.

You know you're a REAL knife person when you can tell if a knife is arriving via UPS, FedEx, or the Postal Service just by looking at a tracking number.

When the only notification you allow on your phone is from the Individual Production Folder forum

Got both of those right, Nfd. That's when I figured out it was OK to buy a Sebenza--I put Wilkins scales on a Ritter and it was still a Griptilian.

Along those lines, you know you're a real knife guy when $100 knife is cheap, a $200 knife is nothing special, a $300 knife is reasonable, and you can rave about what a great deal you got at $750.

Nodding off and still typing

The comments in here are so true it's firenting 😱 I damn near asssosiate with all of them.

And pay another $25-30 to have the scales shipped from Germany and justify it by saying that you didn't have to pay VAT? :D

When you have a knife in arm's reach in every place in your house.

When someone who's been offline for a few days pops back in to ask what knife you have inbound at the moment. :o

When you're cutting firewood with your new Sthil Farm Boss chainsaw and realize that 3.5 inch knife in your pocket cost more.

When "knife day" has arrived. That's what I call it when a knife arrives in the mail. Today I get a 940-1501.
