You know you're a knife knut when...

is that trapper a mod or factory?

I bet this photo answers your question. And the cut off wheel formed the extra deep nail nick. (and they said it couldn't be done . . . with the lowly Dremel).
PS : My Trappers are my most often modded of all my knives. And I mod a lot of my other styles. Think : Cold Steel Ti Lite IV, full flat ground, 1.9mm at the spine.

You know you're a knife nut when... you select your carry knive for the day, but then change your mind because a different knife matches your shirt.

Knuts buy lots of knives and knives just to "try out".
They wander around the big box stores and see an inexpensive kitchen knife that "looks good", they buy it even when they have a drawer full at home. Did that just the other day.

... when you accidentally slice your finger on the sharpened clip of your bowie, and all you care about is how nasty a back cut would be with that thing!

...when one day you decide to sum up how much you spent on knives and half way through your collection you decide - f@#$k it, you would be better off not knowing!

When you keep a sharp knife on the top of your desk just in case you need to discreetly open a fritos bag that day.

When you buy duplicates of knives just in case you wear one out and can't buy another later.

When you see these words on packaging and your first thought is....

"I don't think so."
When you have done this so often that you are unable to tear open a package any longer because of muscle atrophy.

When you're out in public and easily take notice to pocket clips on strangers, and then you try to get a closer look to see what they are carrying.

When you 1st hear about a Sebenza then you hear how much they cost and say to yourself what idiot would spend $400 on a knife. Then 6 months later you have 5 of them and $400 seems like a hell of a deal.

When you read 99 posts about being a knife nut and can relate to each post:rolleyes:
