You know you're a knife knut when...

When you drive 30 min (x2) out of your way on a business trip to check out the B&M that you have bought from online for years.... and that was the highlight of your 4 day trip.

When you drive 15 hours, with a slipping clutch, to Atlanta for bladeshow and nothing else. Or when you forgo putting a new clutch in your car and spend twice the money on knives... Welcome to the nut hut!

When your newspaper looks like confetti because you have been testing the sharpness of your knives.

... you accidentally cut yourself with a knife in your EDC rotation, and even as your chasing the paper towels and the Neosporin, you're secretly happier about how freakin' sharp your knife is, than you are ticked off at your negligence in cutting yourself.

You know you're a thick skinned "Knife Knut" when you commission a custom dagger from the Neill Schutte in South Africa and post pics here on Blade Forum and the post garners all of two replies...but the "Knife Knut" thread has 100+ replies and almost 3,100 views. Yep... the "REAL" knife knuts are here in this thread.

when you spend more time in the morning deciding which knife to carry vs what pants, shirt, and tie you will wear to work. I don't like to carry the same knife everyday but I'll wear the same tie for two weeks in a row and not care.

Yep, that exact thing happened to me just this morning! :D

When you have a few knives by the Lazy Boy to play with where the magazines would normally go and no scratch paper laying around to write on because you sliced them all testing the edge.

Or when you check out the exchange on this Forum for new sale items and you get upset that there are no new entries in the last few minutes. :p

When you clean your knives more often than vacuum or clean your living room. Hey, I guess it is something you want to do rather than something you have to do.
