You know you're a knife nut when...

When you only have one wallet, one lighter, one watch, and one flashlight you carry EVERY SINGLE DAY, but you walk out the door with 4 different knives in your pockets and a couple of backups in your bag.
one wallet - empty, some coins
one lighter - half empty BIC
one watch - old high school $10 Casio
one flashlight - 2 AA incandescent
but
in 4 pockets
one Hearsey
one Hinderer
one Koenig
one Shirogorov

in bag some fixed or not
Medford, Bark River, Lile, roll of GEC's, Carother, etc ...

Among other things ...
When you have more knives than you could wear out in 2 or more lifetimes.

You have difficulty deciding whick knives (plural) you want in your pockets and on your belt when they close and lock the lid on the box you get planted in.

You  know you don't  need another knife but you buy it (or them) anyway.

Family and (former) friends avoid you because all you talk about is cutlery and your latest acquisitions.
(better than talking about the latest political/religious/business/economic/food/law enforcement/military/"Hollywood"/"entertainment" scandals in the "news", IMHO)

You have your favorite forums up in an open tab on your Internet device 24/7/365.25, plus an open tab for each of your favorite sub-sections/sub-forums. You also spend 90% or more of your time online at that forum.

You watch idiots "torture test" knives on You Tube to destruction doing things no one with a single proton of sense would do in "real life". (baton 8-8-16 concrete blocks or paving bricks with their knife, for example) and are disappointed when your favorite brand and/or model "failed" the so called "test".

Most of your saved "favorites" websites are cutlery related.

I think selling a Glock G45 and using the money to purchase two Spyderco knives would qualify me(?)

(Yojumbo, 5x5 Combat Solutions Pickpocket, and a Watu).
Nice! I have a blacked-out Yojumbo set up the same way, as well as one of those Yurco wharncliffe Endura regrinds, because the Janich regrind shortens the knife too much.
