"You may be a knife nut if..."

In that I'm staying at a beach house with 17 other people (relatives) 9 of which are kids, having too many knives could be an issue. Plus, if the luggage gets lots I don't want to be out too much money. I'm flying down with my parents and my sister's family of six, and they are just thankful I'm not bringing a gun. I really wanted to bring my customized Tavor SAR, but you can't shoot into the ocean in Galveston anymore apparently. Too bad.

My cousin in law carries a knife as well (a Kershaw Emerson I gave him 5 or 6 years ago. We should be well equipped to handle a cardboard apocalypse.
That does sound like good reasoning.
Of course you do realize that my post was only meant in good natured teasing, right?

You may be a knife nut if your safe is full and still want more and when you just can’t carry one longer then a few days no matter how much you love it !!
When you love the smell of a new knife so
Much it puts a smile on your face 😁

What do you mean "overkill"?
That's not even a true have dozen!
Pack some knives slacker!
😜 Lol

.... Or when you move and certain boxes full of your gear disappear in the move, but then months later, after you've put it out of your mind to avoid the pain and suffering of loss, you rediscover the lost, forgotten box in the storage unit and it's like you've found burried treasure at the beach!

No fixed blade.

Hey, control your urges. When I use to travel to Texas, I was satisfied with just an original Leatherman tool. There was certainly no need to bring more. That small multitool was very compact; useful but easy to haul. Which was important; especially when you were stuffing your bags with knives for the return trip.
