Ive seen Discovery channel on Dish pushing the shark week show and thought to myself another show about hungry fish, and now a thead 17 pages long in one week. Thats enough for me to set the PVR timer and check it out.
 
Oh, even though it starts today, Shark Week is so last week's news. We're doing Shart Week here in the Becker forum. Who's going first?
 
I guess we know who's changing the thread title.... Not gonna upvote this one.

Ben hammock swinging and geocaching all weekend. If I had brought a kayak it would have been pure bliss. Live and learn.

I got something kinda cool in the mail yesterday that I got off the knifemakers for sale section. Its a cool little knife made with flintknapped obsidian and deer antler.

Had all week off. Worked in the shop. Got a lot of knife projects done, which is good, was getting behind. But worked more hrs. In the shop at home than I would of if I was at work. Oh well, at least I got some stuff done, and I can drink beer in the shop! :thumbup: I had a odd piece of 1/4in. 01 stock that was buggin the hell out of me as far as what to do with it. Low and behold it made a nice little hatchet. So I whipped this out today!

That hatchet is awesome! How do you end up with such a large and weird piece of O1? M-18 drops?

A week working in the shop instead of at work is nearly vacation...
The new vise is already well in play.

Did I mention I just love cold meat? oh yes. cold bbq chicken? yow! cold medium-rare marinated flank steak? yippee!

Hey Thorny. Ahh. Its 15 1/2 in. Long 01. Curly maple handle and that's about it. It is actually a cutoff from a M-18 build. This is what was left over.
