You only have $25

My favorites in the sub $25 class are the entry level Kershaws. You can get by just fine in life with any of them. Caleb, you mentioned the OSO Sweet. I had that one in my pocket yesterday. It has decent steel, feels great in the hand, has the assisted opener, and so on. Its hard to beat for $20 or whatever. But there are several other Kershaws in that category. If you are into a Big Momma, the Tremor is killer. I like also the Blackout, though you may have to get a factory second from Kershawguy.com to get it in the $25 range (not sure). But there are many sweet ones.

I keep a few knives saved on my profile on That Auction Site around that sort of cash just in case I need to get a quick new-blade fix. My last purchase was a CRKT Razel folder, spent like $22 shipped. Hell of a blade for that money.

Is that the one with the chisel tip?

Yessir. I love it, no idea why. Also, for what it is, it's a big, heavy, strong folder. It was clearly made to be a working knife. Oddly, I don't have any pics of it. I'll need to bring it tomorrow and snap a few pics. I'll put it with my Buck Bravo (my other chisel blade).

Word. You do that. I'd love to see some side by sides.

You can find the utilitac for under $25 if you look hard enough. Just found the black standard point and satin tanto point for under that from an external seller from that big online store named after a rainforest, free shipping and no tax unless you live in the external Sellers state.

Edit: My own choices would be a Cold Steel Bushman for fixed and an Ontario Utilitac for folding and yes I can find both of them for under $25 each. :p

The Utilitac II is hands down the best knife I bought for under $30.

I agree. It's the most insane "ZT for $30" I know of, and I mean that honestly. I am actually waiting for the day Ontario realizes what they got going on, and they jack the price of that knife up to like $80.

+1 Long time ago,I bought a P/E Blackout at a leo supply store for about $80 +tax and liked it enough to go back and buy the combo edge version. After all these years still super fast deployment. They're really light for their size and made in USA. When I saw what Kershawguy was selling his blem model for, pretty amazing imho!

Mora Robust (Companion HD, just a different colour)
Kershaw Skyline or OD-2
CRKT Drifter
Opinel

Mora + Opinel + Rough Rider Peanut as stated above. Should be able to do anythig I'd ever need a knife for.
(Wood processing is for hatchets, axes and saws and luckily those were not limited budget-wise ;))

Couple of you have said the Ontario Utilitac. Isnt it $25 and change?....plus shipping? How would you purchase it with "$25 and not a penny more"? If you buy it locally, im guessing its going to be a little more.

Kryptoglow has a nib utilitac 2 for sale in the forums right now for 20 bucks including shipping and fees
