You people won't BELIEVE this! (Long...but worth it.)

Oh...and I have my first REAL piece of classic INFI. The sabre SFNO was great, and the ABA will be fantastic when Garth finishes with it...but THIS? THIS is history to me...and it FEELS fantastic!

Slow down there HOG.
Congrats on an awsome Busse.
But it's A2 not INFI (note the blued spine).

Congrats Jason!!! The good Karma is running strong for you. Have you gone out to buy a lottery ticket yet? ;)

Jeremy is right, once it hits the ground it's a user! :D

I've been oogling the Saddleback briefcases thanks to you and now I'll have to check out the .45 KillboX. How am I going to keep feeding my INFI addiction with all these great new items on my want list? :)

Gift Busses are meant to be used.

Use the knife with the same enthusiasm that got it sent to you as a gift.

I know of a few I have given away that are still safe queens, and I would sort of like to take them back and give them to people that will use them.

All old straight INFI by the way, people pretty much seem to use the Basics I have given away.

Awesome Gat!!! You totally deserve that!! And this jewelry guy is a REAL cool guy!! +1! What's his website?

That's the coolest story I've heard in years. Glad to see there are still great people out there.

Jason, Great for you!

Regardless of anything else you are going to get the best thing you will ever receive when you hold that baby girl in May.

That SHBA is a heck of a thing to tide you over but will be replaced by that baby! I'm happy for you that your first is on her way.

My boy just turned 4 and nothing could ever be valued more than him.

Great story and I'm glad it happened to you.

Best always.

I hate you!!!

I hate you + 2!

you sound like my uncle. He always has people giving him guns and knives. He one time had a neighbor die. He and his children had been splitting wood for the old couple next door. The widow called him up and asked him to come over and take these old guns of her husbands. No family that she wanted to give them to. He went over and there were stacks and stacks of military guns still in the wrapping and the original boxes. M1 garands, M14's, M1 carbines. All the accessories, cases and cases of ammo. He told the old widow that the guns were worth at least 20+ grand on the low side. She told him "I am rich, my house is paid for, all the cars are paid for, I have no one to give them too. Just as long as you and your nice boys keep splitting my wood in the winter, you and your boys are welcome to these guns."

People, I just want to say:

I don't believe that I in any way deserved this fantastic gift. However, last night as I was lying in bed talking to my amazing wife and reading to her your responses to this thread, I realized that all of the positive energy and hog love I am getting from you people is a powerful affirmation that I am living my life the right way. There is no better indicator of a man's character than what the people he's around have to say about him.

I have a pretty thankless job, and sometimes the hardest part of it is making these kids aware that we are not the enemy; We do what we do because we care. You wouldn't believe how some of these kids treat us. And still...you guys have made me remember that even more important than the thanks, and attaboys...and even amazing surprises...is the respect of your peers.

Few of you know me as more than a screen name and some words. Maybe one or two of you has shaken my hand or heard my voice...but all of this positive energy has meant more to me than you can know.

This morning, when I looked in the mirror as I prepared for work, I had the feeling that I am a mostly just and righteous person doing good work in the world around me. I can't tell you how good it felt to be able to see that in my face despite the vicissitudes of life.

I just wanted to say thank you. I appreciate you all.

Jason

Yeh...I knew that. I believe i described it as A2 in the email to Derrick. I guess I just refer to all Busse blades as INFI sometimes.:foot::o Tell you what though, Mulder...after our conversation a couple weeks ago I had kinda given up on owning an SHBA. I appreciated the offer you made me, but I did NOT want to be tempted. Now I have one of my own...and I TOTALLY understand why you love them. You, btw, are a GentleHog.;)

Wow! Just got up to this wonderful story...congratulations and I agree: you certainly deserve it! That is one of my favorite Busses since I handled one last year at Blade, and I know you will enjoy her!
