Do you really prefer high carbon? 1070-1095 over VG-10 or 154CM? How about the exitocs? ZDP-189 Cowry-X, etc. A-2 D-2 Talk to me.

I like ATS-34, D2, and carbon steels in that order. Patina is not a friend of mine.

I really do like 1095, I like vg10 and (Ill probably be the only one), LV3 Sandvik . I can't wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for all your great knives. I have several AG Russell's and like them all. Texas toothpick about 20 funny folders (I gave them away to my clients), one hand knife, wharncliffe whittler, and a few others.

Love the German Eye carbon steel, whatever that is (1095?).

Love the Vic SAK Stainless, whatever that is.

Thanks, AG!

For traditional pocketknives:
1) carbon steel
2) mid-to-higher range stainless, like ATS-34, 440C, and D2.

I don't really care about "wonder steels" or exotics, especially for traditionals.

And I don't really mind lower-grade steel (440A and 420) as long as the knives are priced accordingly, like $20-$40.

I'd like to know more about the "C-75" steel used in some of the new Bokers...

1. ZDP189 (laminated)
2. 3G steel (SGPS core - VG2 sides)
3. VG10 (laminated)
4. Solid VG10
5. ATS34/154CM

All these for folders and small fixed blades.

For choppers:

1. INFI
2. 1095

Old Boker carbon steel, CV, 420HC, 440C. D2 when done well. L6 is fun, 5160 can be a tough blade. 1095, O1, and W2 are staples when I am bumming around in the garage playing at making stuff.

I'd like to see you offer something that isn't being currently offered in slipjoints. So, here is my list, M2 A2, O1, and for stainless VG 10, or something like it.
