Bummer. What would be even weirder, would be to see the same thing here in San Diego any time of the year. It's only happened once in my lifetime, twice in recorded history. I would love to wake up to that, just for the novelty.

Yikes. No thank you. You're welcome to come and visit Atlanta. It's absolutely gorgeous here today. :p

Ten day forcast...

Highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s. Sunny all week.

Holly wah ey? We only got a trace on Saturday, but in the early 90's, we had our biggest snow storm of the year the second week of May. Ended up with 18 inches in a day. Sure does break the spirit this time of the year. Hang in there, it should melt soon.

If this were Whine and Cheese, I'd give you my opinion of snow. Since its not, all I can say is -I'm sorry you have to deal with it but, better you than me my friend.

:p

Am I sick in the head for thinking "Wow, if only I had one last opportunity to strap on my snowshoes this year!"? :D

Seriously though, that's a bit shocking for this time of year. I recommend spending this fine May evening watching The Day After Tomorrow while planning an all-season PSK containing sunscreen, DEET, thermal socks, and a toque.

All the best,

- Mike

Allready done, There was just something in the back of my mind telling my I should keep my winter kit in the car.:D Glad I did!:D

It's 64F & sunny here!:thumbup::D

I don't mind snow at all...I actually like it,but couldn't say I prefer it.;)

Nice pics!

all I can say is, you better not send it south... actually, go ahead, everyone in Calgary has lost the ability to drive on snow, so it will be very entertaining! I guess I'm twisted, but i enjoy seeing the public displays of insanity that are wreaked sports cars. funny, all my life I've only seen one sports car in a multi-vehicle accident, they are always trashed out on the shoulder alone.....

Here in New England we have had 60s, 70s, and 80s the last few weeks and everyone was planting their gardens, the last two nights we have had intermittent killing frosts! Yeah for the greenhouses and plant dealers!

Apparently the same for the upper Ohio valley. My folks in Cincy had to cover their plants the last couple of nights, and we had scattered frost warnings here in WV.

I can recall several Easter snows in these latitudes during my lifetime, but never that much this late. Fonly, make the most of it, man. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade and when life hands you late-season snows, make a snow fort and snowballs. :D

Hahaha, that is awesome.:D

Yeah, listening to the radio, heavy snowfall warning now, 15 cm or 6" of snow here we go!

God I love this country.:D:thumbup:

I'm here in lovely Alberta....As I type this there is a Blizzard going on outside my window...I need to move. I am just glad I am flying out tomorrow for a week in Vancouver. Forecast shows 20+ for them for the next week or so.
