you want weird? welcome to northern Alberta.

I'm the odd man out. I'll take cold and 4 inches of snow any day over the 85 - 90 deg we've been having here in Denver. I hate the heat...

Here you go buddy. Just put this on your desktop and thing green!

Oh it is short sleeves and shorts whether here in Windsor. I'm told its going to be a heater for the next two days :D

There is an old saying here- "If you don't like the weather in Alberta- wait 5 minutes, it'll change. If you still don't like it feel free to leave!!!"

There is a very important reason to not plant anything here until after the May Long Weekend.

I love it, and am still in shorts!

I thought this was BLADE fourms not , it snowed in summer!

Shows how dumb you are, this is a SUB section of a blade forums, wilderness skills and survival, this thread shows anything can happen, and that you need to be prepared for the unexpected.
ANYWAYS.....

Yeah, thanks for that ken:D

I'm with you. After 38 or so the heat started really bothering me.

Luckily, we can run away from it up into the mountains. :)
Good point! I like your sig line, btw.

Here's some knife content to keep this thread legal.

Nothing to do with the thread, just thought I'd throw in some Kreinage...

Oh, yeah, eh. Canada, eh? You hosers forgot that, eh. Better just open up another Molson's, eh?

Here you go. Canada, snow, and a knife.

'Course, that was a few months ago, and the same forest is now covered in Trilliums, leeks, and mushrooms. But, then, I don't live in northern Alberta!

Stay warm Fonly.

All the best,

- Mike

In May we can get any kind of weather you want in a day. On saturday we had a couple of inches of the cold light fluffy type of snow not the wet kind. On sunday it went up to 18 C (65F). Last night it was freezing rain and ice pellets, and this morning its up to 18C already.

I was kidding about sending the snow.... it just started in calgary. forecast is for 1cm snow 1mm rain, could get interesting on the highway!

I was actually looking forward to global warming. I thought it would be fun to have palm trees in my back yard! Now we are going into global cooling, so much for palm trees!!! I knew it was too good to be true! Damn Al Gore

18 in the morning yesterday was okay, but by supper time it was 30 (86F), thats just alittle too much heat too fast, it was a stiffling hot humid night with thunderstorms and no sleep. Welcome back to summer again.

HA!!! Welcome to my world fellow Canadians. We still have 7 feet of ice on the lake that'll be here till mid-July.
