Does anyone have a knife they just absolutely love in the 3-4" range in a folder which is a current production knife in the $200.00 or less price range?

Spyderco Manix! 3 & 3/4 inches, full flat grind, CPM S30V steel, G10 handle scales, and can be purchased for < $130 (street price). This knife should last a lifetime! Happy hunting! :)

My pick has S30V steel too but I'm going with the large Ritter Grip. Light-weight, strong, axis lock, and a nicely swelled handle that feels good in my hand. Mine is in my pocket right now. :)

Manix. Easy choice here. I tried the Grips, they're OK, but kinda fat handled, though they are lightweight.

If you don't like the look or blade of the Manix, definitely check out the Chinook II. It is practically the same thing with just a different blade and slightly different handle ergonomics.

@ 100 bucks street price, there's no better value than the spyderco manix. That is, if you don't mind a large folder.

My top pick, today anyaway, would be the Emerson CQC-11, waved. Despite being a liner lock, it's a tough one and a few swipes on the Sharpmaker fines and uf's brings it back to crisp edge.

Others coming in a very close second: BM 710, BM 940, Spyderco ATR
