your 2 favorite blade sizes?

MOAB for my big blade... and a Mistress for the small blade.

 :D

J/K. ;)

For the large balde it's typically been a Mistress or a NMSFNO,
and it always seems to be a BAD for the small blade.

But lately, I've really been thinking about putting a RUCK into the large blade rotation. :D
Glad to see I'm not the only one with that thought. :)

I really have to wonder if all the folks saying they would use Battle Mistress variants are strictly car campers. I can't imagine any reason I would want to lug a BM on a backpacking trip. Even the NMSFNO is obscenely heavy for such use, and my other backpacking friends laugh at me for carrying so much excess weight for a knife.

MM has a point but I still think its worth the weight in some situations... the nmsfno is a great choice for hiking or prob the new lighter battle rattle or sar 8

a large knife is great for chopping wood and camp chores...otherwise you have to bring an ax and a knife.

I had serious doubts about bringing my nmfbm on my trip to yosemite, but in the end it was worth the extra 2 and 1/2 lbs when it provided tons of fire wood..

on my next car camping excursion i will bring the TB and the KZ

I want a KZ and a CGFBM to hang on my back in an "X" pattern. I could hang with the cool kids then.;)

what show were you at???????? or are all those yours????

LMAO

I guess he doesn't know you very well. If only he had seen a better shot of the entire collection. O, by the way Lil' Foo, what mistress is that with the bad? It's a sweet piece!

Mean street for both.

Second choice would be SAK Farmer/SFNO

Third choice would be a GW/FSH combo.

I'd like to get a BAD and an ABA to throw in the small knife mix.

Camping for days would be my smallish SAR5 and large NMFBM.
One day or less (hiking) would be one of my ADs and my polished SARsqatch or NMSFNO
