The liners are never the same thickness in my experience,
I have multiples of the same knife model and the liners are never quite the same.
I think it just depends on thickness of the titanium thats available when its time for EKI to buy it.
 
Thanks Haze - I don't know why I'm torturing myself so much with a simple decision :confused:

I guess I was just surprised at how skinny (from top to bottom) the blade on the horseman is as compared to other knives I own - and thinking the cqc-8 might have a less skinny blade?

And I thought my other hobbies were time consuming :D
 
As far as I know the blades are all the same stock, again this may change a small amount depending on coatings etc.
