Your best buy of 2015....

Busse Basic 8 and a Spyderco S110V Para2 folder.

It was a good year.

The Tolk is not he prettiest knife I own, in fact IMO it's a bit of an ugly duckling, style-wise, but for carrying and cutting stuff it's amazing:

Busse BGASH and Customs from AD/Smith Levi. Don't know if I got any "2015" folders except for ColdSteel Hold Out XHP. Gotta say not only do I love that design but at $80 new for the OD xhp version is a pretty good deal. I think most my folders are getting sold after the new year.

Tough call as I've gone through quite a few, but it just has to be my Centofante. Makes the top three in my personal hall of fame easily.

An Old Hickory 8" slicer that I modded to be a 4.5" bushcrafter. It was an easy, fun project!

I bought quite a few knives, but the Rainbow Damascus and ebony Sebenza 21 I scored at Blade was the best.

Best buy this year was this Cattaraugus 225Q, at least if we define "best" as "most pleasing to me."

Nothing fancy, nothing historic, not a project knife — just a good old veteran in excellent usable shape. (Carved the turkey last month using it.) I have retired the the original sheath shown above and replaced it with a modern-made replica.

Clearly, it's not an everyday carry item, but it just pleases me no end to own it.

For me BM 808 Loco, 2 Griptilians (550, 551-1302) and 2 custom fixed blades from Polish knife makers.

I've bought some good knives this year. Some of the most notable...
Folders- ZT 0562cf, 0450, small micarta Insingo(first Sebenza), Ti scales for my Rift.
Fixed- BK15(with a fantastic sheath from 710), S-Tac, Big Chris pocket fighter.

My best buy of the year would have to go to the Spyderco Lum Tanto in burgundy paperstone scales. I've wanted it for years now and have only seen them for sale on a few sites in the $250ish range.
The first and only one I've ever seen for sale on the exchange here was this one. Scored it for $175. Nearly missed it as it was posted in the folders section with a mix of other knives. My brother gave me the heads up that it was this one!
