Your best ergo folder?

Spyderco military! My hand fits perfectly in between the "humps" on the handle in a gorilla grip, and when using the thumb ramp the end of the handle sits in my palm just right.

Fantoni HB-01 aka Beretta Harsey folder has wonderful ergonomics which I prefer to all of the production knives listed so far, although the Spydie Stretch is pretty darn good

Best I have handled so far are the ZT 550, Spyderco Delica 4 (FRN), Spyderco UKPK, and Spyderco Urban. The best of these might have to be the Urban. Spyderco dominates the ergonomics department.

Kirby Lambert inferno, it just feels natural in my hand and the perfect amount of jimping located ideally.

ZT 0777 M390. the knife really doesnt look like it would be the most comfort oriented knife but it really does feel the best of all my knives. A close second is the CRKT foresight. That knife is as if ken onion designed the handle after squeezing a wad of clay. It really has that melted feel. Though IMHO it limits comfortable grips. One thing Im really not liking with knives these days are the thin and uncomfortable handles. I have had man folders that looked cool but just felt like I had nothing to hold on to. Especially in the index finger area. I really can appreciated newer designs from begg, direware, etc that beef up the handle without increasing the length. It may not look right but the feel is great.

Good thread.

Dozier KA-BAR Lightweight folder.
Pohan Leu Bluephin.
Black Bear Knives Metro Razor.
Warren Thomas M2 Folder.
Para Military.
Sebenza.
Strider SnG.
These knives fit my hand like a glove.

Stretch, Native5, then PM2. What can I say, the brand pays attention to ergos. Really though most knives I own from all brands dont have hot spots or anything like that.

Funny, I took out all my knives yesterday to see which were feeling best in my hand. I've bought around 6-7 knives in the past few months and haven't really put my selection head to head in a while. Firstly, different designs call for their own unique grips & this can't be ignored or bypassed. Secondly there is a significant difference between sitting on the couch, squeezing a handle, vs. carving wood or something like cutting hard plastic or rubber. Plus there are different grips/techniques with different tasks. The most comfy by far is my Fiddleback Forge "Paring Knife" but that's a fixed blade. As far as folders go, my Lg Seb 21 leads the pack followed by a Knives Of Alaska Folding Hunter. SnG certainly is up there but I'd prefer the jimping to be less aggressive. The least comfy knives I have are the Microtech Socom Delta (the clip is in the way for me) & a Hogue EX01 (all around uncomfortable for me). I have XL hands though & my buddies that do dig knives both really dig these two.
