Allright Guys,

If you could only have one watch , the most reliable and rugged...Solar power , battery or self-winding. The one watch that looks good on your wrist at the campsite and compliments you while dressing for a wedding or blacktie affair.

The all-round best running , good looking watch. What is your favorite?

If you are referring to something I own, then I will answer my TAG auto. I have been wearing it for 8 years, I do not remember the model.

If you are referring to something I DON'T own; then I would have to answer a Ball Night Train.

Probably the Rolex Submariner. But I doubt I will ever be caught wearing this at a campsite. Even the best mechanicals are not made for banging around in the woods IMO.

No contest for me...My monsterous Citizen 300m stainless Ecozilla dive watch...I LOVE that watch!...

Seiko Auto Diver 007 with ZULU band. I have had a few solar and kinetic watches fail me, batteries have to be replaced, I've never had a problem with any of my mechanical Seikos nor has anyone else I know with one, and unlike Swiss brands the Seiko is not out of the average person's budget.

I only saw the campsite mention the first time I read the OP. For an everything watch I would go with the same Seiko but with a metal band on a budget, a Rolex Sub without cost constraints.

I have a Citizen Navihawk. It is an excellent watch. It is filled with features which I use daily and it is a beautiful watch. I've worn it camping, running, biking, swimming, black tie affairs, and other affairs without any issue.

Casio G-Shock MR-G model. Titanium case and bracelet, analog face , backlight, nothing else.
The titan bracelet is the only one that doesn't make me break out.

My old Tag works for me, tough enough to take camping yet nice enough to wear with a suit and win a few compliments from the ladies with taste.

Well I guess my stainless steel Luminox. Its over 10 years old, still runs and looks nice.

Rolex Sea Dweller. It is on my wrist 24/7.

Citizen Eco-drive. The model is called a Calibre something or other. Quartz accuracy, solar power, waterproof, elegant looking (but rugged). It also has an alarm, dual time, and a perpetual calendar.

I'd have to go for my Tag black auto Aquaracer.
I have a few auto watches but that is my favorite by far.
I use it for hiking, camping, sailing as well as all the trying to look cool stuff too.

I owned that same Tag. I traded it off to Kaizen after I got my Rolex. I noticed every watch I was buying looked like the Sub/SD, so I might as well wear what I really want.
