  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Your Black Friday purchase?

Found this 1991 Buck 532 at the local knife shop on Friday. No discount, but complementary home-made chili, hot dogs cooked in beer, and cookies available for "customer appreciation day".

I just bought gifts for Christmas.

I bought a Southern Grind Spider Monkey to give to my brother in law. I absolutely love mine.
I bought knives from Case and Buck to give to my nephews. (I bought each nephew a stockman from Case and a Buck 110)

I've just been deleting all the emails as they come in. I'm a little over all of the retail entity desperation, so I generally make a point to pass on the whole circus. That said, I did buy a pair of boots from one of my favorite companies, but as I was about to buy them anyway, figured it doesn't really count.

On the bargain side of the low-end fence, I had been looking for a clean looking folder for light duty pocket carry. Preferably a slip joint. Found a deal over at CountyComm on a Boker multi-tool. Sandvik 12C27 2.75" blade. It even has a sharpening choil. Weighs 3.1oz. G-10 scales. Reversible deep carry pocket clip. Limited lifetime warranty from Boker USA. Original price? $44.95. Discounted to $19.95.

There are/were some really good discounts this year, IMO much better than years past. It kinda broke my heart, but I didn’t pick anything up for myself.

I did grab a pair of Salt 2’s and a Para 3 LW for gifting purposes.

Bark River Bravo Tope Recon for 50% of MSRP (plus a little more with reward points). When it gets here, planning to post pics in the recent 'Your Ultimate Zombie Apocalypse Knife' thread.

Nice to see some ZTs discounted. Grabbed a couple I didn't need, but have been eyeing.
