Your Carrying Knife

I would like to hear about your carrying knife - the knife or knives you carry everyday.

As for me, for everyday use I carry 3:

SwissBuck TaskMate II (handiest little knife!) In a belt pouch.

Schrade Old Timer Middleman 3 bladed Stockman in my left pants pocket.

Leatherman Micra in my right pants pocket - I think everyone should have one of these.

For Scouting I carry a Deluxe Boy Scout Utility Knife y Camilluss in a handmade leather belt pouch.

For camping, fishing and hunting I also carry a Leatherman PSTII and a BuckLite. (I take a larger sheath knife but rarely use it)

For years I carried an all military issue type (bought in a surplus store) stainless steel utiility pocketknife by Camillus in a belt pouch. Good little knife but the cutting bladed dulled easily and quickly. I still have it and carry and use it sometimes.

I also favor the Standard Issue utility style knives made by Victorinox and Wenger, but the Camillus versions are sturdier.

I am a runner and I even carry a knife on my runs: a 3" serrated blade SPYDERCO look a like with a pocket clip - clipped to my running shorts. You never know when or where you may need a knife.

I own and carry and use lots of others at times but these are my favorites.

What about yours?

Thanks.

Just two now & from here on out I will have on my person for use:

A Darrel Ralph XL Apogee and a Wenger Swiss Army Knife ..... what a combination aye?!

XL Apogee for just about everything I will need to cut, the Wenger Swiss Army I am carrying for 2 reasons: my daughter & twin boys have this knife they carry (their first knife given by me) and they want there daddy to carry it too, and I like using the tweezers and toothpick

I carry three on a regular basis...A Queen Steel slim trapper in my pants pocket, A Dale Reif Damascus and G10 Tactical folder on my belt in a pouch and always one of my own NK-1 neck knives dangling from my neck.

They all three get used a lot. Sometimes I will have one of my Large Utility Combat Knives on my belt, either in the woods or in unsavory parts of town

First, the constants:
My checkbook is a manta ray JSP CKB-Alpha
Leatherman Wave on my belt
SAK in glove compartment

Front right pocket gets an approx 4" folder. Usually Spyder Wegner or SpeedTech Synergy (Thanks again BF & SpeedTech!).

If I can carry a fixed, I'll have my Simonich-Wegner Talonite Pro Hunter or Martiini Jouni Puukko.

Neck Knife is a Crawford KNK

BM705, BM730 on a regular basis. BM140HS when not completely surrounded by sheeple. Also always have a $4 lockback to cut things which I wouldn't cut with a 'real' knife (including opening boxes that new knives come in, 'cause there's something insulting about opening a box containing a newer knife with another knife, and I don't want to insult one of my 'friends').

Got a 750 on the way for a folding backup to the 140HS when camping (integral locks are easier to clean).

Well, this week I have been carrying an Outdoor edge Impulse, and a Remington mini-trapper (1991 bullet knife). Usually a Victorinox classic on the key-ring.

It varies. Sometimes I carry CRKT Urban Shark and sometime my SpeedTech Synergy. I plan on purchasing a CR Sebenza in the near future and I have a feeling that it will be my daily carry.

R and L Spyderco Wayne Goddard Ltwts Plain, rear pockets.

Victorix Swiss Tool in a G2 horizontal sheath, R rear hip.

Camillus US Knife on my keychain kit.

Wenger Standard on a static line to some pocket, just bought it last night, don't know where it is going to live yet.

Allen Blade 1095 MEUK, in my hip pack.

Around the office, I carry a Leatherman Micra multi-tool and a Benchmade 330 gent. When in the field, I carry the drop point Benchmade Ascent and a Leatherman Wave multi-tool. Sometimes I switch the Ascent for a Benchmade Mini-AFCK.

I usually have one large and one small folder on me. I carry the large in my left front pocket or in a pouch on the same side. The small is in my right front pocket.

The large choices are: SOG Tomcat or an Atkinson with red micarta slabs.

The small ones are: Spyderco Baby Goddard, or a Timberline Timberlite drop point.

There are others but they rarely see any use.

Been carrying a bm 710 alot, this has been my everyday carry, at work I'll add a sak or my Rookie. I carry a cs vaquero if I'm going somewhere I can't carry a gun. Hunting I use a schrade Bear Paw.

I'm a Military Police officer. I carry a spyderco military 440v in my left pocket, on my duty belt I have a Kershaw Blackout. In my personal car I have a Cold Steel 3" tanto voyager, and I sometimes resort to my Microtech Vector M.

Large Sebenza. This knife has dampened my need to buy knives, I take it everywhere and so far it does everything. I have a leatherman PST II in my bag, and am expecting a SwissChamp that will be covered in Moose Stag (ooooh baby), but that's for the fishing box. My CTII is perfect, but of course it's illegal to carry in Texas so I would never think of that

Cold Steel Voyager 4" clip point plain edge
(replaced an Emerson Raven E1B I mostly leave home now - loved the kydron handle, hated the chisel ground blade and icky black coating)

Victorinox Classic (black)

I carry a Hartsfield Kwaiken crossdraw on my belt. Lately, I've been carrying a REKAT Pioneer II clipped to the right front pants pocket. In scrubs, I just clip the Pioneer to my waistband.

Again, this varies, but I'll tell you the edges on my person at the moment. On my belt, right side, is 4" damascus bowie w/sheephorn and brass spacers, by Audra Draper. Clipped to my left jeans pocket is a CRKT Sampson Kiss Spear Pt. Plain.

F-250: An Ontario Marine Raider Bowie, and a Cold Steel XL Voyager clip pt. in the seatcover pockets.

LandCruiser: A Cold Steel Vaquero Grande, and Ruana Drop pt. sticker in the center console, with a SwissChamp in the glove box.

My wife's Suburban: A pre-clip Sebenza in the center console which she stole from me.
