Your Carrying Knife

For a long time(5-6 years), my "never leave home without it" was a SpyderCo Police Model(serrated), but lately, I have been toting a Kershaw Talon (50/50 blade). The Police was big, but very slim and easy for me to carry. The Talon is a little thicker, but it's sharp and easy to keep that way, and also very smooth to open. Now, I just got a Random Task this afternoon and it seems really neat (after tweaking the pivot for certain opening). The handles (G10) are pretty and I am worrying about scratching them in normal pocket carry. Does any one know if G10 scratches/scuffs easy and can it be polished out if needed?
When I am at sea, I also carry a Gerber Locking Multiplier, Streamlight Scorpion and a little red Photon II for walking around on the weatherdecks after dark. I am giving the Scorpion to the wife, but replacing it with a Surefire E1 soon. Oh, and also a recent addition, a Seber M4 on my keychain.

I always have a Micra and Photon micro-light on my key ring in my left pocket. In the right is usually some sort of one-hand folder, like a BM830 plainedge or Spyderco of similar size. I'm too fickle to seem to stay with just one main carry knife, but I do always stay with tip-up carry. Dave

or combinations of these depending on where I'm going...

Nice thread. It's always fun to see what the rest of the obsessed are choosing. For me, it's a BM 850 Mel Pardue, but I'm going to throw a Spyderco Bob Lum in as soon as my second one arrives. As you might guess, I like titanium...

Good Day,

I carry too many.

R front -> Spyderco Military

R rear -> Spyderco Delica

R shirt pocket -> Spyderco Mouse

R belt pouch -> Spyderco StarMate

L cargo -> Spyderco Goddard

L belt sheath -> Victorinox Swiss Tool

All Plain edge.

That would not be too bad, except for all the other things that swim around in my pockets.

Howdy!

Always (Except in the shower!):

Right front: Spyderco Wegner

Left front: Spyderco Military

Nearly always: Right side belt: Swiss Tool

I'm beginning to spend more amounts of time with sheeple, though, and am in the market for some smaller-bladed tools for my pockets.
