Your cheapest carry and most expensive carry

The Umnumzaan was my main carry for a long time. The relatively cheap Cold Steel Air Lite has been carried more lately. I really enjoy both.

Nothing fancy for me. A swiss lite on my key ring since 1997 . The little lite has saved the day many a time .
Then in 2012 a small sebenza plain. Birthday present. Yes its worn and well used .
20 and maybe 350 . Both are treasured.

My cheapest carry has to be a SAK/Dreizack contract knife I got from the last PIF thread. I later bought a second one on eBay for six bucks plus shipping. They are nothing more than simple Vic Spartans with a different name stamped on the blade. One is resting in a coat pocket. it’s great as a loaner/back up knife or for when I am forgetful and leave the house empty handed.

My most expensive carry would be my Benchmade 162 Bushcraft at $160. I don’t carry it much but, it is the most I have ever paid for any knife.

If we are talking folders, it would have to be about $50-75 clams for a used Griptilian.

Vic Classic. This green one as an example. I have a blue one on my keys.

CRK Large Sebenza 21 Micarta.

I do use this TGLB, which might be more expensive than the Lg 21 above, but I don't carry it often.

Sure got them reeves collectors in here. When it comes down to price I could have guessed that would be the case. I'm surprised not more people have Striders on this site. Aren't they like 3~600 too?
I'm no collector. I do carry and use that Large 21 Micarta. CRK owners as only non-using collectors is often a misconception. Also, many won't touch a strider because of this: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/mick-strider-has-some-explaining-to-do.453852/

Thread courtesy of the site owner.

Somebody in the last PIF thread sent me a SAK Spartan with German markings. That rides in the pocket of my vest and goes everywhere I go.

A large Griptilian is normally my EDC when I am not in the office.

I’d say $20 on the low end and a little over $100 for the Benchmade.

Funny how things change in a couple of months :D:p

Yeah, I traded some of my collection so prices have changed.
The first post had estimated prices, anyway. Not that you need an explanation or anything.

what is that top one?? wow - it's just clean and so busy on the handle but it works... never seen such a contrast with burl + cf - I really like it

as for mine...
an opinel 8 (but with bubinga, it's worth the extra $10) - and just a couple dollars more, a kershaw leek

high end for me is the spydy gb2

It's a TBC EXK Plus, i have a thing for inlays and this is a masterpiece :)

Least expensive is an old Buck Adrenalin which is also the worst POS that I own--blade broken off twice and re-ground, finish worn away, and way off center with lock-up maxed out. Also my most frequent companion as it's my second-carry work beater in my off pocket for all those things one should never do with a knife.

Current most expensive is my Russian Dr Death which gets carried and used, though in a non-work, EDC role.

Cheapest - Benchmade 555 - 1. $165
Most expensive – crk small inkosi Micarta inlay – $475.
I only have four edc's - the middle two are a Protech Strider Auto at $170 and a sprint run para 3 carbon fiber at $230. All are rotated equally.
