Your cheapest carry and most expensive carry

Carry an el-cheapo ozark trail stag handle as my junk handler knife and everyday tasks or package opening. Most expensive I would say is my Boker Kalasnikov. But it is a sad day as that knife is K.I.A. so it would have to go to my fallback. Buck 285 bantam.

Most expensive is still a tie between the M390 Dividend and the Massdrop Gent. I haven't carried the Squirrel since my last post. So let's upgrade my cheapest carry to the $20 QSP Parrot. :)

Both are good boys.

My cheapest carry is Kershaw Scallion, which I really like. This particular one has bead-blasted 420HC blade and Olive Green aluminum scales.
My expensive carry is Peter Carey Rubicon, which was a gift from a good friend.

Looks like you pulled the trigger on it after all, hehe.
Friend found the large size model on 30% discount, it was even cheaper than medium one and it's on legit and well known European webshop!
He ordered one right away and I followed without much thinking.

8 inches long CPM-3V blade with tanto tip and full tang construction, Cold Steel heat treatment, G10 ergonomic handle... I read all the reviews and there seems to be no downsides to that knife. So I said "why not?"

Well Drop Forged Hunter is cheapest knife I carry, it's also my usual EDC ever since I got it.

Most expensive would be Recon Tanto,
42€ and 65€. I know that both are cheap but that's how it is :D
IF they work for you for your tasks, then price is NOT an issue.
Folks with more money will often spend more, but ego may well play a part of that purchase.
However, many "experts" highly recommend the Morakniv Companion Fixed Blade Outdoor Knife and it's about $12.79.

I guess I need to change/update my initial answer.

Least expensive that I carry and use now is a faux West German Cold War era Bundeswehr, at $5.98. Next cheapest is a Marbles MR278 "Demo Knife" at $6.98. Both are in my EDC carry rotation and get used.

Most expensive is a GEC 610211 half congress, or a (Stag) GEC 852211 Harness Jack.
Both the GEC's have been in my pocket and have been used since I got them a couple weeks ago. :)

I'm not sure which of the GEC's was the most exensive, they were gifted to me.
I'd guess the 85, due to the Stag covers.
I know both were $100-$150 each new in 2011.
I suspect if you could find one on the secondary market, they would cost considerably more now, than when new.

3rd most expensive would have to be a Case TB61028W DAM Mediterranean Blue Tear Drop, with a Damascus Wharnnclif blade. (also gifted to me)
I believe it was well over $100 when new in 2015, as well. I'm pretty sure the two GEC's cost a bit more though, since it is not a Tony Bose collaberation.
The Case has also been in my pocket and used since it arrived. :)

I always carry more than one knife in my pocket.
This week, I have six in my pocket plus two on my belt. :)

Happy for you man. You better send pics soon as it arrives!

Agreed. Good thing about this hobby is that there’s a price range for practically everyone. You don’t really need a king’s ransom to have good knives.

I’ll get a CRK Inkosi. Someday lol.

Cheapest knife i still carry would be some model of SAK.

Most expensive is XM18s and Sebenzas usually or my Shirogorov Tabargan.

Cheapest that I actually carry...a Vic Compact

Most expensive that’s actually carried...a Mini CR my wife ordered thru Benchmade

Here’s the two I carry the most. On top is my expensive carry knife, the Spyderco Manix and on bottom is the cheapo Civivi Hooligan.
