Your Christmas gifts

My brother has three boys. One christmas when they were around 5,7 and 9 I bought them each hockey sticks. They proceeded to whack everything around the house including each other. The next year, they all got wrist rockets - few windows survived. The best one was the following year when I bought them each calf roping ropes and taught them how to swing them. (I used to Rodeo). The teachers finally had to call my brother to come to the school because my nephews were busy roping all their classmates and tying them up. All of this goes to show that it IS better to give than receive.

My willpower was weak, so i tore open the parcel from the Canadian BF members gift exchange a few days early! SharpNewbie sent me a pouch of pipe tobacco (Santa's Smoke 2008, from Burlington Tobacconists in Edmonton Alberta). and a Kabar USMC small fixed blade with leather sheath! Thanks SN! im enjoying a bowl of the tobacco right now!

I also got a large bottle of Gin from my boss, which makes up (somewhat, at least it dulls the pain...) for not getting a paycheck in over 4 weeks.

earlier last week i got a cash job for a day or two, so i got a Surefire 8AX Commander with recharger, spare battery, and a SureFire red flip up lens kit to match it, for a wicked price from a local shop i deal with.(DS TACTICAL). Also got a Fenix TK11. It is my humble opinion that every Police Officer should have a TK11.

I already know that Mumsie got me socks and food, she treats me every year! Dad has been VERY generous with his time and shop this year for me.

I'm really looking forward to a sit down dinner though on Christmas eve and day. I normally chow down out the cooking pot in front of the tube or 'puter.
