given our current financial status, i probably won't be buying too many knives in 09'...:o

if i do it'll probably be:

- a laconico or 2..
- another ML.. it's been a while..
- i would love a knife from les voorhies..
- maybe a few more knives from some of our awesome makers here on BF...

i already have this beauty coming my way soon...:D one of CR new bushcrafters... i love the looks of this one...

Koster Nesmuk
JK Kephart
Gossman PSK (nekkid)

thats the customs i am wanting. want some production knives too...but if i get those three this year ill be happy. I am sure ill be :foot: at the end of the year.

As long as this is only a wish list(if some money fell into my lap:D),I'd get a knife by Jay Fisher.

I hope to get 2-3 Bark River. Does that count? Kinda hate the long wait on customs. Suppose to have a Koster Bushcrafter coming from a member here on bladeforum. Can't sleep, unless I walk many miles during the day. My best friends are knives.

What he said.

Plus a Laconico, a Gossman Tusker, a JK keychain companion, a Fiddleback and a Breeden Pathfinder. Not necessarily in that order.

A roach Belly. I also have a few more Stompers in the works. Who knows what might catch a guys eye.:D

I'm really going to cut back on buying stuff this year and spend money on getting out, hopefully. That being said, there are a few makers I'd like to get something from eventually...

Fiddleback -- the Woodsman looks like a great knife, the Bushcrafters look good too.
Ray Laconico -- don't think I've seen an ugly knife he has made yet, lots of beautiful knives
Bryan Breeden -- Great guy to work with and makes knives I'm not afraid to use hard.

I've also seen a few pretty nice blades by GL Drew and Robert Dark posted in the Makers For Sale section. I've thought about grabbing a blade from these guys a couple times as well. Koyote is also a lurker on my list.

I want a custom scandi jig that fits DMT diamond stones. Like my apex, but with BEEF. (The apex is awesome, but the stones don't hold up to the abuse of putting scandi edges on custom knives.)

For knives, I hope to worm my way into a fiddleback nessie, Gossman anything and a Troop. And if I get caught up after that, a laconico and a JK. I have a breeden :D

to be quite honest, any money i get in the new year is going to Silver and Gold bullion coins. I spent $100 cdn of my Christmas money and got 5 CDN $5 .9999% silver coins. Already they have gone up to $24 bucks each. I have my eye on a few blades, the J-Siah skunkworks project is my #1 choice, followed by one of those curved belly blades (nessmuck i believe?) by Dan or others.......

I would love to get another, but finances are looking bad for any other knife purchases for awhile. Will have to see what happens during the coming year.

Still, can only use one knife at a time and my new Breeden is a real user friendly blade.
