Hi Gang! As you know, I usually EDC my HD7 or my Para D2. BUT... I received a Buck/Strider 881 about two weeks ago and this one has not left my pocket. This folder is a serious rival.
Who else wants to fess-up?

Umm,, another Emerson? It's pretty much all I carry now, but a southern grind bad monkey makes its way to my pocket occasionally, but it's waved, so I see it as a cousin of sorts.

My zt 0620 in m390 that I gradually turned into a drop point rather than a tanto, also has a custom scale and liner. Between that and the iron dragon no other folder has a chance for pocket time.

If I'm going to carry a knife so I have a knife to/for all potential uses, EMERSON ALL THE WAY! If I carrying something to play with, then maybe something else along with a Wave spec'd Emerson.:p

A couple of ZTs, a couple of Spydercos, and a few customs. All Ti framelocks though.

I really wanted an a100 but it has no wave and the blade is on the short side for me. I bought a holdout added ghetto opening device.

Sometimes a 0562, XM-18, Sebenza 25. Besides that always an Emerson. Lately I have been carrying a small TA Davison slippie alongside.

Knives that I carry occasionally besides an Emerson are a Zt 630, Zt 566, and a 3in XM Wharny

i rotate many brands/models i own around just so they get some pocket time, but my cqc15 seems to always get a lot of pocket time when outdoors. speaking of a buck strider collab........now a tri-ad emerson would be pretty darn awesome, but wish list stuff.......

I have only had my mini 15 for a little over a month, but it goes into my right front pocket every morning when I get dressed.

I do swap out knives when I get to work. A Military or a Paramilitary 2 will take it's place. At the end of my shift I swap back again.

I could get rid of all my knives but those three and be just fine.

Thanks gang. We have some nice knives in rotation going on here.
We all know tho, there is something about an Emerson knife in the pocket.

There is something about an Emerson knife in the pocket. I will occasionally swap for a few ZTs or a Strider SNG but I rarely carry those without an Emerson also. Been working on a college campus lately so it's been a CQC14 and/or a ZT 0900.

Mines almost exclusively been a Super-7 or a Super K-bit, then at work I usually have a CQC-12. Lately instead of the 12 its been a microtech socom delta, and occasionally instead of the Super-7 in my EDC. Other than that maybe an SMF but if I'm out and about it's usually an emerson :D

My brand new mini A-100 just replaced my ZT 0630. Once it's broken in it will probably be used only when I want a smaller blade and the 0630 will take back over.

That Commander demands respect. I am thinking about the Emerson Bowie but the Commander is so cool.
Yea, the A100 needs to be experienced by all Emerson knife knuts. Mine mini is out for a lockbar adjustment.

my stonewashed xm18 is my emerson rival - since i only got a custom cqc8 - i carry the emerson for very light use and only use the xm18 hard since the stonewash finish hides all the scratches...

:foot:

i want a custom 15 and i am thinking about getting a super roadhouse or persian too... - i think a super roadhouse with serrations would make for a great user - but i love the shape of the persian...

For me, when I swap out my Emerson its for another Emerson. I EDC'd a Journeyman for more than two years straight, only occasionally swapping it out for my 13 or Iron Dragon. But three weeks ago I shattered my left heel in a four wheeler accident and have been laid up ever since and I have exclusively been carrying my Iron Dragon. I am pretty much limited to wearing gym shorts and its light weight makes it pocket friendly
