Your Emerson Arch Rival

I have carried Emerson knives almost exclusively for a year or more but decided to switch it up a bit.
The last few months has seen a ZT 0452cf, Sebenza 25, or Benchmade 909 Axis Stryker.
 
I only have a pair of Emersons right now. Both on the large side and frequently carried. When the occasion requires for a smaller or more discreet carry, it will be either my Buck Vantage Pro, CRKT Heiho or Spydie Tasman.
 
There are only a couple of rivals to my small Emerson army, and I only keep them because I'm either too lazy to get them listed and all the what not to package and sell 'em, or.......no, that's actually it.

Spyderco PM2 and Yojimbo 2, and mt ZT 0700. I already gave my younger brother my Traveler BTS and ZT 0750. Sister is going to get my 7B SFS when she starts driving.

As of now, my EDC is still the 881. My new CQC7B, thank you John, is second.
 
Ironically, my Kershaw CQC-6K keeps kicking my "true" Emersons out of rotation. Its just a better slicer, and suits my daily utility uses perfectly.

Second would be FFG Spyderco Manix 2 G-10. But seeing as how i dont own it yet, doesnt really count. But my Lightweight version sure gave all my other blades a run for their money.
 
I always have a 7 on me. I will also carry another Emerson or a Strider SnG, or recently a Hinderer XM-18.
 
Some days I'll carry my Benchmade 707 which rivals my CQC 7B. Still, rivals, but doesn't take over!

Correction. On office days it's a mnandi. On weekends a brand new large sebenza with micarta has taken over. But Emerson is still my goto for hard use and is what rides in my glove box and hunting/hiking pack.
 
If you want to get technical, sometimes I'll carry my Benchmade 970 in lieu of a true Emerson as my primary carry knife. However I'll always have a true, 100% Emerson knife on me at all times.

CQC14 for me have a Mini A-100 just to look at now and then but it is for sale as the 14 is jealous and does not want to leave my pocket.

When I took the picture with Ernie in my avatar I asked him to sign it for me. He said it was cool and a classic and was surprised it was in such good condition.

Lately only a CS Ti-Lite or Grayman Dua will replace one of my Emersons in my pocket.
