Your favorite blade steel

I can't name a favorite. I don't think I ever tried a steel I didn't like. You do have to match your needs to the alloy, but for any need there are a number of alloys which will work just dandy.

That being said, I do find a certain partiality for Rosta-Frei, that Jamaican steel that can't be beat.
